Draft Mockstradamus Contest

Call it a hunch that Baalke is going to trade down in this draft. If not, I imagine it looks a bit like this.....

1-Jack Conklin (Kelly likes white folks)
2-Connor Cook (Baalke trolls Harbs with 2 MSU picks in a row)
3-Pharoh Cooper (Gotta draft a Gamecock of course)
4-Jaylon Smith (ya know why)
4-Dak Prescott (Baalke forgets he drafted Cook two rounds ago)
5-Tyler Ervin (local kid so he can feel like he outsmarted everybody)
5-Adam Gotsis (Just so York can sell more jerseys to the Aussies)
5-Kevin Hogan (Baalke can't decide on which QB he likes, so he drafts another)
6-Vernon Adams (And another)
6-Joe Haeg (gonna discuss with a NDST alum about what a good QB looks like)
6-Moritz Boehringer (York gonna spread his international appeal to Germany, nobody in Cali likes him anymore)
6-De'Runnya Wilson (As in, we gonna De'runnya ass outta town if you blow this draft!)

R5: Pick 6 (145th overall) - Adam Gotsis (leader, strong)

R6: Pick 3 (178th overall) - Dadi Nicolas (athlete)
R6: Pick 32 (207th overall) - Vernon Adams (QBOF )
R6: Pick 36 (211th overall) - Antonio Morrison (at least he'll play hard)

Prediction:

2016 - Myles Jack - 20 years old

Nope. Doesn't follow the pattern. 2011, 2013, 2015.....2017 we'll draft a 20 year old
Slightly different from the mock I just posted. More what I think Baalke will do than what I want or what I think will make a fun mock. But one I would be very happy with if anything close to it happened.

So.... probably actually nothing close to what Baalke will do.

Round 1 - Pick 7 Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame
Round 2 - Pick 37 Josh Garnett, G, Stanford G
Round 3 - Pick 68 Shilique Calhoun, OLB/DE,
Round 4 - Pick 105 Dak Prescott, QB, Mississippi St QB
Round 4 - Pick 133 Scooby Wright, ILB, Arizona
Round 5 - Pick 142 Eric Murray, CB, Minnesota
Round 5 - Pick 145 Dadi Nicolas, OLB, Virginia Tech
Round 5 - Pick 174 Kenny Lawler, WR, Cal
Round 6 - Pick 178 Max Tuerk, C, USC
Round 6 - Pick 207 DJ Foster, RB, Arizona ST
Round 6 - Pick 211 Anthony Zettel, DT, Penn St
Round 6 - Pick 213 Taveze Calhoun. CB, Mississippi St

Note: If Jaylon Smith falls past the third round (which I don't expect him to go past the second), there is a 100% chance we take him if he is available with our first day 3 pick. If his medicals had even come close to checking out I am sure he would have been the pick at 7. As it is, I am terrified we are one of the teams that could take him earlier than he should go. I think part of the reason we are supposedly passing on Jack with his knee issues making him questionable is that we know we may very well have another ILB riding the pine this year if Jaylon makes it to the third round or so.

Also, if Dax is gone. Kevin Hogan is our man. And like many, would not be shocked at all to see a late Vernon Adams pick. Especially if we trade Kap at some point during the draft.

R6: Pick 3 (178th overall) - Small DE that will play OLB
R6: Pick 32 (207th overall) - S that can also play OLB/CB/ and return kicks (a real roster saver it's like 4 players in one Trent gets a boner)

Agreed NC, love the first 2 picks. This is how I'm hoping the way the draft goes for us position wise, with maybe slipping in a higher rated OLB in the 3rd or 4th.
