If we draft Jack in round 1 and Jaylon Smith is there in round 4. I say we draft them both. We probadly would sit Smith next season and use him sparingly the next. A year or two at backup ILB then Smith steps into replace bowman in a few years. We don't need 12 rookies so we get to stash Smith on the IR while he heals. Can u imagine the rotation of Bowman, smith and Jack! Then having Jack and smith pair up for the next 7!

Jack + Smith + DL/OL beef would be a nice haul
From the buzz around Smith, his injury sounds like Lattimore's. So, it might be a couple years worth of IR and hoping he returns to full strength.

it's no where near like Lattimore's. and he's healthy right now to play. the question is if his knee will hold up in the future.

I thought some reports mentioned Smith having nerve damage? I'm not a doctor, but I just get the vibe that it's a longer-term investment with Smith's recovery.
Jack does seem ready to go. Though, I could see Chaalke limiting his snaps in year 1.

They were talking about Smith, you're talking about Jack.

Jaylon Smith probably won't even get drafted at all, much less in the 4th round.

Lol we can draft Smith in the 6th round just to make sure no one takes a waiver on him in the 7th.

Neither of them will play a single regular season down in their career
