Another shocker is that the Browns end up picking Ramsey. Their defense has good potential and adding a stud on that side could help them tremendously, especially with the loss of Gipson. Plus his confidence is near primetime territory, which is what Cleveland needs.

What would shock me is if Trent actually took who I wanted.

Leonard Floyd would be a surprise pick I'd be pretty happy with. Best 3-4 OLB prospect in the draft imo. Not too big of a reach--would be reminiscent of the Aldon Smith pick, which did surprise a bit at the time. If Jack is the BPA and the team is not comfortable with his injury situation, I could see Floyd at 7 if we don't trade down.

3. Joey Bosa
Here's my prediction - Derrick Henry, all time HS RB record holder & heisman winner
I actually wouldn't mind this pick. We would finally have a durable RB that would be able to get a breather while another good RB was on the field.
Henry also came from a shotgun spread read-option hybrid type offense. So he and Kap would be a great combo!

Yes draft a RB who very few have as a 1st rounder in the top 10.

Would love to see an aggressive move for an elite QB prospect.
Love Wentz. He is worth it to me. He has the skills and intangibles of an elite NFL QB.
DO IT BAALKE!!!!!!!

You never know what you'll get with Baalke. I'd almost be shocked if he stayed at #7 and picked the BPA LOL. Surprise pick? OT Taylor Decker.

How accurate are mock drafts with success?
I get that Henry is a big back who doesn't fit our offense, but how often does a RB like him come around? He's incredibly rare and a workhorse.
Obviously the 49ers have bigger needs, such as a pass rusher and offensive tackle, but to write Derrick Henry or Ezekiel Elliot off is silly.
How'd the 49ers win recently? A great defense and a stellar run game. Carlos Hyde is no guarantee and his backups are subpar.
It really depends on who falls to the 49ers.

I'd be mad if we drafted him at #37. Amazing athlete that should have been a LB. Being 6'4 240 run a 4.5 you'll be unstoppable in the NCAA. I don't see that flying on the NFL level.

Even if you argue that the 49ers NEED a RB, Henry isn't anywhere close to being the caliber of RB that is deserving of a Top 10 pick. Plenty of RB's in this draft that you can use to split carries with Hyde and that could be especially good fits in the 49ers blocking scheme. I'd be shocked if Henry is gone by the time the 49ers are on the board in the 2nd round.

Shocker = Trading up to the #2 overall pick.
