Possible that the QBs go #1 and #2?

I think someone trades up to #1 (Rams) and takes Goff....Wentz goes #2 to the Browns.

I also think that the second-tier QBs are gone by the end of the first round. If we're planning on taking a QB, we'll have to trade back up into the first.

Okay? Anything is possible at this point. I still dont think it makes sense for the 49ers to give up a ton of draft picks to move up to #1.
If both QBs are gone in the top 6 picks then it means that one of Jack, Ramsey, Buckner, Bosa or Tunsil are available for the 49ers to take.
Prescott will still be available for the 49ers in the 2nd, potentially in the 3rd too.

I don't think Goff gets taken before Ramsey and Tunsil. I don't think a ton of teams will be willing to give up enough compensation to move up to #1, so the Titans will be left choosing between Ramsey and Tunsil at #1. The Browns probably take Wentz at #2. The Chargers could use whoever is remaining between Tunsil and Ramsey at 3.
Cowboys are more likely to trade the pick to a team that needs a QB (49ers, Eagles, Rams) if they really like Elliot who should be available later in the top 10. If they trade with the Rams, they would likely need to trade back up for Elliot, but if they traded with the Eagles or 49ers, they are still almost guaranteed to get Elliot and at least a 3rd round pick.
I think it's more likely that Goff or Wentz fall to 7 than that they go 1-2 in the draft. I'm wondering how much of the interest in Goff/Wentz is coming from rumors put out by the top teams who want to trade down though. The Titans are clearly trying to drum up interest by saying they would consider trading Mariota so they can replace him with Wentz. I'd roll the dice and count on one of them falling to the 4-6 range if we try trading up.

No way the Rams can get to #1. They'd have to give up years of 1st rd picks.

This.
The Titans are basically begging someone to trade up and pay the value that the #1 pick typically commands. I doubt that they get any takers unless some team gets really desperate.
I feel pretty good about one of the QBs still being there at #4 or #5.

Strong possibility.

Agree completely on not moving up to 1 0r 2.
I'd be happy if both QB's were gone and we get Buckner and Dak.
I do feel we'll have to move up to get him.

Who is a second tier QB? If Lynch then yeah, definitely. Beyond him I wouldnt be shocked to not see another QB go in the 1st round. Cook to me is a 3rd rounder but will likely go in the early to mid 2nd. Prescott is a 3rd round guy but will go late 2nd round.

If Wentz or Goff fall to 7 it will give the 49ers more options, trade back or draft the QB. My take is that a team looking for a QB is not going to wait until the Niners are on the clock to make a deal, they will have made the deal earlier. Stan Kroenke just spent 3/4's of a billion dollars buying a spread in Texas, I'm sure if he has his eye on Wentz or Goff he'll make the deal before Baalke comes back from his bathroom break.

The Rams problem is that they'd have to blow up their entire draft to move up pretty much. Their 1st plus both their 2nd rounders at minimum to move up to 6 and thats if a team wants to drop back that far.

Maybe not one and two but as the draft gets closer, I beginning to feel that both Wentz and Goff will be gone before #7 comes up.
If Baalke wants a QB, I hope he moves up. 12 draft picks and maybe more if we trade Kap. Use it as ammo to get your QB.
If he wants to wait and play it out, great as well! I'll be happy with a top notch defender.

Titans arent giving up Mariota, they are just floating that BS in an attempt to pressure some dumb GM into moving up to #1 in exchange for a bounty of picks.
