Brothers is a good ILB...but I'd question using my #2 pick on him because Bowman has Hodges to compliment him. Based on what I saw last season, he looks like a real player. I'd agree we need depth at the position, but why use the 2nd rd pick to get it. Pass rusher, OL, WR are considerably bigger needs. Spriggs (OL), Shalique Calhoun (PR) are guys worth drafting there.
I like the Howard and Ridgeway picks a lot. I might still take Ridgeway even if Buckner's the pick in the 1st. Or, since I wouldn't draft Goff, Prescott might be the guy. His game translates to Kelly's offense very well. Also like the Derunnya Willson pick...big WR, and we know Kelly loves big receivers who can run...check.
Overall, I like your mock, but would make a few changes I outlined above.
No offence to you but I've always thought "BPA" is such a cop-out. It requires no analysis. Plus, the "BPA" may very well not be a good fit for your team.
Brothers would definitely beat out Hodges. He did look good, but Brothers is much better.
Ridgeway
and Buckner? Humm, that might not be a bad idea given Ian Williams' situation. Those two with Armstead, and what we already have on the D-line would make a murderous unit for the NFL to deal with.
I hope to dear God we don't pass up on Goff, Wentz, or even Paxton for Prescott. This guy is getting really hyped. We need a franchise guy to let Kaep/Gabbert bridge in. By and large, top NFL QB's come out the 1st round.
