Hopefully we just take a QB Day 3 and hope for Kirk next year.

He went back to college for his senior year

It would been Trubisky leading the votes but he wants everyone to call him Mitchell, so yah.
Poor guy. Pretty sure he changed his name b/c val wasn't having a QB named Mitch.

I think the problem with the QB's this year is that they are all just about intriguing enough to keep giving chances to. Blake Bortles & Ryan Tannehill keep convincing their teams that they might become good enough and they pass on QB's, eventually they will give up and cost the team 5 years.
I see this in Trubisky and Watson, and even Kizer, Webb and Mahomes. They will all make plays that will keep you coming back, but all have flaws that will ultimately stop you winning consistently.
It's like that perfect golf drive that convinces you that you might get better even though you suck!
I think that you need to keep drafting QB's as you never know when a stud may come along, but the less capital invested when you do, the easier it is to walk away. That said I would take Peterman, but not before the 4th, or have a flier on a Dobbs, Beathard or maybe even Kelly in the 6th or 7th.
I think the cost of taking one higher could be to blind us from a better one in the next two or three years.

He's not in this draft, he will be in the 2018 draft.

I mean, Falk kinda sucks right?
Dude looked like Playoff Palmer every time he played a halfway decent defense. The only time I see him consistently make any throws is when it's against single coverage. I think he's heavily protected by his scheme. Good for Wazzu, bad for the NFL. I think he may be mush between the ears. He was clanking passes off of DBs hands all season. I'm not sure how this guy got all the hype he built up around here. People always point to his completion %. But 70% completion % in an Air Raid offense is where it starts, not a point of pride.
I think people are seeing what they want to see in this kid. I will be interested to see how he holds up in a formal NFL evaluation period.

So many QBs off to a bad start this year! Will be difficult to sort through, but Kyle should know who he wants.

I tried to track down if I ever said anything on him. He's on the list of prospects I wanted to "scout." 2017 was one of my most comprehensive looks, put a lot of time into it. And got completely exhausted, never finished looking at every prospect, including Mullens.
