2017 QB draft class

The hell are you talking about? QBs don't have to be great to look like 1st rounders. Trubisky and Kizer have plenty of talent to convince teams to pick them in the first half of the first round. Watson will probably go in the first round as well.

Thats why teams like Cleveland in 10 years drafted 4 ou 5 QBs in the first round who end up BUSTS

Probably not a good idea...

Bruce Feldman ‏@BruceFeldmanCFB
After one season at #VaTech QB Jerod Evans announces he's leaving for the NFL and skipping his senior season.

A bunch of guys are staying in school so he thinks he might be overdrafted(and probably is right).

Pure financial decision

Agree. I think he will get over drafted, probably could have been a 1st rounder next season. Also maybe a good decision because he just lost his talent and would have a rough senior year

Talented, would say he'd be a good fit for Chip's offense but that boat has passed, pretty raw guy that will have to sit for at least a season.
So if Shanny is our new HC what QB in this years draft is a good fit(any round)????

Mahomes is now listed at 95 on CBS' board. This may be an odd but great year for QBs just under FQB level, which means there will be a premium on development. Have to love getting Shanahan for this.

Trubisky and Watson in R1, Mahomes in late R1-early R2, Nate Peterman and Chad Kelly in the mid-late rounds. Maybe Dobbs as a late round consideration.

Not a bad list of players...Personally I'd rather draft a QB 3rd or 4th round so he can sit and learn way to much pressure on 1st-2nd rounders...
Maybe Peterman in tha 4th and Kelly in tha 6th just cause...
A guy generating some buzz in Senior Bowl is David Webb.
The guy has a stronger arm than people thought and throws a very catchable ball

According to the CBS big board, we could re-load our defense at any position, save for CB and NT, respectively, with our first-rounder pretty well.
If we really miss out on Garrett, I want us to take a long close look at DE Thomas (Stanford), FS Hooker (Ohio State; Reid is going to enter his contract year, could be cut if needed), SS Adams (LSU, Bethea was awful), ILB Foster (Alabama).
We will rebuild for at least one season anyway, no need to rush things and go after an overrated QB instead.

If Garrett goes #1, want Niners to take either Foster or Thomas at #2.

Thomas or foster at 2 come on man. We don't need to draft another DE at two. Foster does not equal 2nd overall pick.
Is Thomas really a poor fit at 3-4 OLB?
It's safe to say there's no Winstons or Mariotas in this draft...Mahomes is intriguing because of his accuracy, mobility, arm and overall football IQ. He's played in Kingsbury's spread offense at Texas Tech, but seems to have the stuff to learn and function well in a WCO. I saw today where the Pats are posturing for a trade of Garrapolo, which could be right up Shanahan's alley. He'd arguably prefer Cousins, but the 'Skins are in the driver's seat with him. I'd be fine w/Garrapolo...it'd accomplish two things: give KS a starting QB and allow them to draft a QB beyond the 1st rd. Whoever Coach goes after, it still makes perfect sense to trade down from the #2 pick to make a deal and still retain 10-11 draft picks.
