If he can play all 3 downs, I'd strongly consider him at 37. If not, 3rd/4th round.
Only a two down player. Still wouldn't mind in round 3 or 4.

PLAYER OVERVIEW

Brothers played primarily weak-side linebacker in Missouri's base 4-3 scheme, moving to the middle in nickel situations. He is a high volume tackler with more stops the past two seasons than any other college football player, registering double-digit tackles in 11 of the 12 games in 2015.

STRENGTHS WEAKNESSES

STRENGTHS: Looks good on the hoof with proportionate body thickness. Processes action quickly with above average instincts for the position. Smart pre-snap, recognizing formations and anticipating play calls. Reliable play speed and quick to work through the trash.

Excellent at coming to balance on the move and breaking down to be a dependable open-field tackler. Finds that balance between patience, aggressiveness and staying alert. Physical player and uses his aggressive hands to stack-and-shed. Lateral agility as a blitzer.

Impact player on special teams coverages - three blocked kicks in 2015. Excellent timing with a knack for the big play with five interceptions and four forced fumbles over his career. Durable and tough, playing through pain - started 40 straight games over the past three seasons. Highly productive with 120-plus tackles each of the past two years, leading the nation in tackles per game (12.7) in 2015.

WEAKNESSES: Lacks ideal height and arm length, requiring help at times to finish tackles. Not an explosive mover with only one gear in pursuit, limiting his chase speed and overall range. Lacks the secondary burst to recover after a false step.

Overaggressive tendencies, biting on fakes and abandoning his cover responsibilities. Heavy feet and tight joints show up in coverage. Needs to be a more reliable finisher in small spaces like the pocket.

IN OUR VIEW: Brothers plays with above average recognition skills and anticipation to beat blockers to the contact point, but for his high tackle production, he also misses several tackles due to his lack of ideal speed and length. However, he's able to compensate for his average athleticism due to his competitive nature and superb instincts to be a tackling machine.

NFL COMPARISON: D'Qwell Jackson, Indianapolis Colts - Similar to Jackson, Brothers is an average athlete, but his tackling abilities will trump scheme in the NFL, projecting best inside in a 3-4 base or strong side in a 4-3 formation.

He is a 2 down backer primarily. Talented prospect but Id rather see a guy better in coverage....or just take Blake Martinez later in the draft.
Don't see any coverage skills...we need a 3 down LB
Scouts Inc Profile

Instincts/Recognition-3-Rarely takes false steps and flashes ability to track the ball yet still gets caught out of position too much. Inconsistent gap discipline and tends to guess when loses sight of the ball carrier. Adequate reaction time to misdirection. Above average reaction time to play action and screens. Slightly above average awareness in zone coverage.

Take-on Skills-3-Effective slipping blocks on the move. Extends arms and pushes blockers past him. Anchors well for the most part but gets pushed around at times and doesn't recover well when starts to give ground. Flashes ability to stack and shed but inconsistent and shorter arms hinder ability to keep blockers off frame.

Range vs. Run-4-Makes plays outside the tackle box and the occasional play downfield but average playing speed and doesn't have the burst to chase down backs on a straight line. Inconsistent effort and angles. Also gets caught up in the wash a little too much

Tackling-3-Squares, wraps and drives through contact in tight spaces. At his best making plays between the tackles. Not as effective when he's unable to square up. Slides off too many tackles when closes at an angle. Average body control and below average change of direction in space. Not a downhill thumper that delivers a lot of big hits either.

3rd Down Capabilities-4-Adequate range in zone thanks in large part to instincts and awareness. Flashes ability to play ball and has five career interceptions. Active hands but doesn't do a great job of getting off blocks rushing the passer and lacks the closing speed to regularly threaten off the edge at the NFL level. Flashes ability to reroute backs and tight ends but has to win with physicality to hold up in one-on-one coverage.
