"I think he's a plug-and-play second-rounder who can play in an odd or even front. He reminds me of the type of guy Ozzie (Newsome) looks for with his toughness." -- AFC Director of Scouting
Think you meant to put 38" for his vertical. Looks like an interesting player in the early 3rd round range - good size, length, and explosiveness. Do you think he can hold up in coverage? 4.8 at the combine and 4.77 at his pro day aren't great times and his 3 cone and shuttle weren't that impressive either.
Sounds like a worse version of Ogbah who I really like in the late first, but I'll have to watch him play.

Corrected thanks lol.
I didnt watch much Georgia games so I couldn't tell ya much about his coverage skills. I agree a 4.77 isn't great but not bad for a 260lb man. I think he could help in a rotation and worth a look in the 3rd if we can't land one of the higher graded pass rushers.

I agree and every game I have watched Floyd would seem to get lost and disappear while Jenkins was almost in on every play..thats the difference between them would u rather some Great plays here and there vs consistent good plays..
Georgia edge rusher Jordan Jenkins has worked out for the Colts, Saints and Raiders.
Jenkins will be a valued commodity on the second day of the draft. Practically every team is looking for edge rushing help, but there is a steep drop off after the top two or three prospects at the position. Jenkins is a straight-line, power rusher with a great get off.
he'd be a solid pick in the 3rd I think he's getting overlooked IMHO
hence the reason he's not being drafted in the 1st two rounds. He reminds me of Books good for 6-8 sacks a year real good against the run....wasn't really asked to get in coverage a ton. He would add good depth at OLB
Got to look at other pass rushers that are projected to go 3rd and 4th rounds and I see him as one of the better ones.
At this point, I don't think you are getting anyone with any immediate pass rushing ability on the NFL level unless there are serious red flags. At this point, it's more raw talent that will have to be coached up, or perhaps OLBs on the small side that won't be able to shed lineman. Jenkins has the size, but does he have the speed/moves to get by people? I'm only in favor of drafting an OLB that can perform in a Dan Skuta-like role Be a key special teams player and a role player at OLB. It's basically a battle between this draft pick and 4th year player Corey Lemonier.
