Kevin Hogan

I really like this kid from Stanford. Has all the tools we need. We can get him in the late 2nd round or 3rd and get what we need with the top picks. He has more interesting talent than all the highly regarded 1st rounders.
I like his football IQ, high character and leadership.
He is the kind of player who work his @ss off to improve and minimize his limitations.

With the fall of Prescott he might rise to 4th round

It almost feels like this thread already exists.
Not with a second or third, more like a fifth or sixth.

Looked horrible throwing at the combine. Doesn't have a great arm, not that accurate. There's a reason he's not even in the discussion of 1st round QB's.

Combine doesn't decide who's the best QB, it only decides who gets picked first

Im biased because im a Cardinal fan, but dude is legit.

I like Hogan too, but was just pointing out he didn't throw well at the combine and is clearly not the top QB prospect in the draft.

He has one of the highest floors among QB prospects this year in my opinion, especially coming out of a pro style offense. I just don't see him becoming a franchise QB - he doesn't have the arm talent or accuracy other QB's in the draft have. He's a smart guy, a solid athlete, has an okay arm, and makes good decisions. He'll be a really cheap and capable backup QB on a rookie deal.

lol
if hogan had his brains but kaepernick's physical ability.
The release is not a real problem, it is fixable(see Rivers).
The arm is ok(53mph)

The major issues are if he can undestand the defense and how fast can he process the game mentally(I guess that is the question for all QBs comming out)
