Where is he projected to go? Saw him in Senior Bowl practice and he looked good. Tall lanky CB.

I want to draft him. If he is there in the 4th, I think we should take him.

I have no idea what Canady is like. The position, though, is not one of need for us.

It could be, we had some guys getting burned last year
Scouting report:
PLAYER OVERVIEWA high school quarterback and defensive back, Canady led the Cavaliers in passes defended (15) as a junior in 2015, starting all 12 games at cornerback, lining up outside and inside over the slot receiver.STRENGTHS WEAKNESSESSTRENGTHS: He has ideal height and length for the position with the coordinated athleticism to shadow receivers at all levels of the field. Canady accelerates well to smoothly change directions. Canady plays with nonstop competitiveness and shows a keen awareness vs. the run.
WEAKNESSES: Displays wild footwork in coverage and needs to calm his transition to stay under control ? he is able to recover after false steps in the ACC, but that won't be the case in the NFL. Lacks ideal strength to push through blocks and is more of a hugger than overpowering finisher.
IN OUR VIEW: He needs technique and discipline work, but NFL teams who prioritize height, confidence and speed at defensive back will be interested in what Canady has to offer as a pro prospect.

We have solid but unspectacular CBS. We haven't had a shutdown CB since Deion and I really wish we were in position to get one, we rarely are that high in the draft to get a Patrick Peterson with a top 5-10 pick. This year we are and there looks to be none. Just our luck.
