Press Democrat, Grant Cohn, April 26, Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame
Stanley is the only top tackle prospect the Niners are known to have met with, according to Walterfootball, and the Niners almost always spend their first-round picks on players they already have met. Stanley can play left tackle and would allow the 49ers trade Joe Staley if Staley doesn't want to play for a rebuilding team.

Washington Post, Mark Maske, April 27, Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis
Is this too early for Lynch? Some talent evaluators would say so. But the 49ers need a quarterback of the future. And with Goff and Wentz coming off the board immediately, the chances of Lynch being selected very early have increased.

Sacramento Bee, Matt Barrows, April 27, DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon
DeForest. DeTrees. Buckner and last year's first-round pick, Arik Armstead, would give the 49ers two 6-7 defensive ends.

Sporting News, Vinnie Iyer, April 27, DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon
Buckner is a better 3-4 lineman than last year's first-round Arik Armstead, also a former Duck. There's everything there to think Buckner can wreak havoc right away with his big, explosive frame off the edge. He fits what Chip Kelly and Jim O'Neil want from that position to raise the impact of their entire defense.

Am I the only one who hopes we don't draft any QBs under the 5th or 6th round? I wouldn't mind the Kevin Hogan experiment, but I'm not a fan of Cook or Lynch AT ALL. Especially if it's Round 1-Round 2

Independent Mail, Dan Hope, April 27, Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis (trade w/ TENN)
The 49ers no longer view Colin Kaepernick as a franchise quarterback, so they could target Lynch as his replacement, especially if they can trade down to get better value.

If you think you're the only one with this opinion, you have somehow amassed 46,000 posts without reading a single post from anyone else

Also, I really hope we don't draft Cook. I think Lynch could be good if he can sit for a year or two. If we can trade down with TENN and get Lynch and an extra 2nd, I would be totally fine with that.

Mike Mayock, NFL.com, April 27, DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon
The 49ers go defense for the second year in a row from Oregon. Think Calais Campbell with Buckner. I think Buckner has All-Pro written all over him.

Chicago Tribune, Brad Biggs, April 27, DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon
49ers get a terrific addition for the line with a former Duck for new coach Chip Kelly.

CBS, Jared Dubin, April 27, DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon
The 49ers still need a quarterback, but the value of Buckner here is too good to pass up. They can wait a bit on the passer with Goff and Wentz both off the board already.
