And who are they gonna get to help them win now?? Drew Brees?? I highly doubt the front office is thinking Tomsula HAS to win now with the losses this team suffered and the relapse it through. A one year re-build is what I think they give Tomsula, then in 2017 judgment day comes.
Zach Mettenberg is a interesting possibility.

For what?
Would rather trade for him with a 5th or 6th than spend a 1st on a QB

Not going to happen until a new coach comes in

Not anything better than Gabbert IMO. If they want a QB they will to take one early. Its that simple.

Totally agree,no time for p***y-footing around,Draft Lynch or Goff and from there take care of the OL with the next3 picks with a pass-rusher in between

Round 5-6

Let's not forget...a pretty average QB can look pretty good behind a killer O Line...Tunsil, plus one more starter-type lineman...Gabbert might look like a different guy.

Thank you--someone making sense. Tunsil or Stanley

Sounds like a winning formula #NOT

Yeah...not taking a QB has gone splendidly for Houston and St Louis.

The Rams are the role model for what some posters seem to want for this team....stack the OL and DL.....no QB...hope for 8-8 every year.

In the NFL, the one position that you simply, absolutely cannot win without is quarterback. Going all Singletary like and treating it like just another position that you can hopefully fill in at a later date is a recipe for mediocrity.

The operative word is "might."

Or he might be the same guy that keeps looking to check down on every 3rd long and now next year you still need to draft a QB, with worse draft position and in a worse draft for QB talent.
