And a low pick spent on a developmental qb.
By pass rusher, I think we can rule out OLB pretty much.
It looks like a very weak crop at the top for OLBs in a 3-4.
The strength is at OT and DE/DT. Assuming this team picks in the top 6, guys like Tunsil and Stanley at OT, DEs like Bosa and Nkemdiche, a WR like Treadwell, an ILB like Jaylon Smith, a CB like Ramsey or Hargreaves look like the best options.

I now have to disagree with my statement up above, but it's gotta be BPA.

I think the OL would look far improved if they can get Kilgore in at C and Devey out at RG. If they dont take a tackle in the first, theres a lot of interesting 2nd and 3rd round level prospects.

In the first three rounds we need to target:
OLB - Brooks could/should be cut. His play doesn't justify his salary. Lynch needs help
RB - Hyde is a stud, but he is getting beaten up with no rest. Bush is done, Hayne is strictly a returner right now, and Davis is mediocre.
OT - pears is garbage. If we had solid guards, Boone could even slide outside.
After that we need:
QB - I am not giving up on Kaepernick, but we need to develop a young guy for if and when we go in another direction.
ILB - Wilhoite is passable and Bowman may never be the same. A 3-4 needs better play here.
OG - Tiller looks like he deserves a shot. Thomas has been disappointing.

Is Anthony Davis definitely coming back? I don't know if I would go OT in the first round if he is coming back or if we draft a good OG or two, Boone could potentially slide to OT as well.

We don't need to go to a RB in the first three rounds because the running backs picked at that area are normally picked to be starters and we don't need one. We can't say davis is mediocre because he is not receiving sufficient workload to evaluate him and is still his 1st year in the league so there is plenty of room to improve. The niners will probably use a mid-late round pick at it.
What we should pick in the first three rounds is a ILB because both Bowman(he can't cover anymore) and Wilhoite are 2 down linebackers. Or maybe DE because our 3 D-line starters are NT(don't have a good pass-rush) and even if Armstead step up and get a chance at one of the DE spots the other one can still be improved.

How about Shawn Oakman to put across from Armstead?

He's projected as a mid-late first round pick right now. If he falls to the 2nd, he may be worth a look, but that's unlikely right now and he's probably better suited as a 4-3 DE. He doesn't always play with great leverage (tough at 6'9), he's top-heavy, and he hasn't been very productive which raises concerns about his motor. I can't imagine the 49ers drafting him unless we're planning on switching to a 4-3 which I would be fine with.
