Yeah I could definitely see him rising if he has another great season. Hoping Mike Leach gives him more control of the offense this season. Think it'd help his development also. Which teams would love. He's also working with the same talent caliber team as Goff had. WSU isn't pulling in 5* every season at all. He also lead WSU to a better record than Goff did at Cal this season, including wins @Oregon, @Arizona, @UCLA, and marched them down for what would have been a game winning FG versus Stanford (kicker missed).Originally posted by Phoenix49ers:Originally posted by Travisty13:Alot can happen in a couple years. True that. Only from my vantage point right now. I see Falk as a late 1st rounder, early 2nd rounder but if he has a junior season like Goff did I can see him having a meteoric rise and being in the Top 5 discussion next draft.
I also wouldn't be against Baalke trading our 2nd this year for a future 1st next. Just to have ammunition in next year's draft. We are clearly in a rebuild mode. If we exceed expectations and win to much, we have 2 1sts to which to move up with. If we completely bottom out this season and end up with a top 5 pick, than we'd be in a position to grab a QB and still have a chance at another great player too.
