Kid is an absolute baller. More athletic than Shazier in my opinion. Want him if we don't get Jaylen Smith. He's a do it all linebacker

He's a baller foreal, would it be crazy to think we could get him with about the 35th pick or so, our would be gone in the 20's?

Nope, it's possible. Depends on what position the teams think suits him best. At ILB in a 3-4, I think Smith and even a hurt Jack will rate higher come draft time. If he is seen as an OLB, he may be viewed as a tweener on the smallish side, which could push him down even further. But like all drafts, all it takes is one team to love him and he very well could be gone by then. Personally, I think he easily has top 15-20 talent, but I would target him in the 2nd at 35 or so like you said

He may be viewed later in the 1st as of now, but he's explosive. Similar to Von Miller he'll just continue to rise.

Want. I overlooked this guy for a while because I mixed him up with Josh Perry, who didn't impress me nearly as much. I would watch a bunch of plays & say to myself, "He looked a lot better in the last video I saw," while I was watching the wrong guy.
Sit him for a year while he can naturally put on 10 pounds. Right now, he's too small to play ILB; but he has the agility, flexibility, coverage skills and tenacity the Niners' defense needs. Let him play special teams until he adds some weight.
2nd round. Please be there.

Can see raiders trading down a bit and taking him at 20 or so tbh

I was hoping for Goff in the first and Lee in the second. Don't see that happening anymore, this kid is going in the first and continues to climb on boards

after the combine his stock went through the roof...analytic teams got wood lol.
He'd have to put on 20 Lbs to play ILB for us though.
Ohio State LB Darron Lee posted a SPARQ workout score in the 92nd percentile at the NFL Combine, according to Rotoworld contributor Zach Whitman.
Lee's 11-foot-1 broad jump is the third best for a linebacker since 2006, and Lee's 4.20 20 yard short shuttle was a top three time at this respective NFL Combine for his position group. Add on Lee's 4.43 forty and unofficial 1.55 10 yard split, and Lee put in a complete performance. The former high school quarterback and safety fits the athletic profile many teams are looking for off of the ball. He should be a first round selection.

Seen every snap of him this year (being about 8 miles from campus), and can testify that going from Point A to Point B, there is a LOT to like. The thing that holds me back from a top 10-15 grade for him is missed tackles. Can this be corrected? Maybe. He is still first round material to me, but really has to clean up this greatest deficiency. Just not the surest tackler.
If fans are looking for another player, who has similar traits of flying to the football from Point A to B, but also has issues finishing plays with missed tackles, they don't need to leave the great state of Ohio. Jatavis Brown of Akron is probably a fourth rounder, is super active and smart on the football field. Same issue with missed tackles. Should have been a combine invitee. Very good player.

Unfortunately, a 4-3 team will probably pick him up really early. He's not quite big enough to be great in a 3-4 as a rookie.
It was a nice thought when I figured he'd be there in the 2nd, but now it's a pipe dream.
