Spurrier...former Niner QB and a legendary college football coach at Fla and SC. If you succeed playing for him, chances are you'll make a good pro.

Spurrier was HC of Washington Redskins from 2002-2003. Baalke was a scout for Washington from 2001-2004. They know each other from there. Also has stated he knows South Carolina players are well coached, especially on offense.

One of the reporters wrote up on this, Baalke and Spurrier once worked together, Baalke is familiar with Spurrier, also said that their players are smart and pick things up very quickly.
