coates is gone. yeah 2 4ths to trade (comp cant be traded which is our3rd 4th). I dont see him doing it though. I'd sit back take bpa at all 3 spots. Could go Jay Ajayi and take a risk on his injured knee/arthritis?. So we got DE, S, OLB. Means we could possibly use WR, ILB, RB, QB.
edit seen dawson is gone

does tj clemmings have an unknown injury that hes still out there? michael bennett too...
tre jackson or jarvis harrison if we want to go guard but i doubt it. we will be ok i think
coudl take a risk on Ekpre-Olomu or jay ajayi (injury guys)
stefon diggs or rashad greene for wr
david cobb rb, doran grant cb, mike davis rb, langford rb
kurtis drummond is probably out with tartt, doubt we go 2 safeties in 1 draft
Count me in on David Cobb or Stefon Diggs or Rashad Greene. Ajayi was one of my favorite players but the rumors of arthritis in his injured knee are probably true so that spells early retirement like Lattimore.

There's only 1 WR remaining who is worth drafting...Justin Hardy. If Crowder was bigger, I would include him.
The 2 best WR classes in NFL history...and Trent watches everyone get drafted by someone else. I hope his days are numbered.

I think the 49ers should just keep their picks and pretty much go BPA. Go with a CB, WR and OG or RB in no particular order.

Man Baalke isn't messing around on D. We are stacked. Athletic, long, explosive and aggressive. We go OL and WR in the 4th and probably a CB. Love the Tartt and Harold picks. Harold is a first rounder if he stays in school one more year. Tartt is just mean and nasty and brings some attitude to the secondary. Baalke just guaranteed Dahl will see zero snaps on D next year and may get cut. I know everybody wanted the sexy WR picks but I like what Baalke has done so far. If your not sure stick with what you know and Baalke knows defensive players. I was a little underwhelmed with the Armstead pick until I really looked at it. I think he's going to be an anchor on the DL for a while and you can't deny the pedigree. Man our D just doesn't have bodies they have talent and speed. Bethea will be a casualty of the cap after this year at 32 and Tartt and Reid make a fast smart aggressive combo. Not to mention if Reid gets hurt another concussion you can pair Ward at FS with Tartt at SS. That's a lot of range. Harold is instantly better than Lemonier and if Corey can bounce back this year we have 4 quality pass rushers all fresh in the 4th quarter. I don't count Brooks because although he's a playmaker he's not a consistent pass rusher.
Another thing about Tartt. He can come in in the Nickel and at his size and speed combo drop down to LB and cover TEs since Willis is gone and Wilhoite can't cover. Now just grab a G to replace Boone's sorry butt and take a WR and QB or RB whatever. I just know defense and running wins in our division and we can take all the WRs we want if Kap doesn't improve and can't score a lot of points we are going to have to control the opposing offenses and with these picks we now have a D that can do that especially with these picks combined with Mangini's aggressive style. Definitely excited about the D. Does anyone know the WRs, CBs and RBs still on the board that we have met with? Also out of those players who has experience returning kicks and punts and was actually good at it? We still have Boldin, Torrey Smith, Vernon Davis, Reggie Bush, Carlos Hyde, Jerome Simpson, Kendall Hunter, Vance McDonald (I think his back is fine and has a breakout year this year, finally) Bruce Ellington and Quinton Patton. Patton and Ellington have flashed and you have to see what they can do this year. You have 3 quality backs already and WRs that have produced when they play. Offense isn't like D, you have to be on the field to get into a rhythm. We have plenty of talent to get it done on O if Kap can take the next step in the maturation process. If he can't it wouldn't matter if we drafted DGB or Amari Cooper. So unless you think somebody is can't miss stick with what you know and now in the 4th get your WR, OL or CB maybe an ILB or back up QB. Love the picks so far and I think production wise so far this may turn out to be one of Trent's better drafts. One more very important day though.

This. I don't understand how people can't see it. I am looking forward to our front 7 destroying offenses next season. It won't even matter who is in the secondary.
To answer the original poster's question, I prefer we keep our two fourths (the third 4th we can't trade) and just go BPA. Also, although I like the idea of stockpiling players (i.e. injured guys), I'd rather draft guys that can contribute this season. At least wait until the 5th or 6th round before we begin doing that. I like Rashad Greene if he is still available. Jamison Crowder is another. Also, what Jaelen Strong/Anquan Boldin like receivers are available? I'd also like to see a G and CB taken there. But Trent may surprise us all and go QB lol.

Hate to break it to you but the 1st 3 picks aren't gonna contribute much in 2015 why would any of the later prospects? Baalke is planning for 2016, why not take a chance on talent like Ifo or smelter? At this point none of the WRs available are upgrades to Ellington or Patton.

Still fill that way?I got my wish Baalke had Smelter on his board all along and thinking what I was thinking,Boldin taking Smelter under His wing and teaching Him everything He knows .
