Round two draft strategy

1st pick Armstead
Signed Philip Wheeler at Lb today

With the trade back to 17 we got yet another 4th round pick. We now have three picks in the fourth round. I see us trading back up into round two and having two 2nd round picks. So the question is who do we target? DGB at WR and who else?

Devin smith
Jaelen Strong OR DGB. we have 2 4ths and a 4th comp so we have 2 4ths to play with to move up if need be. Our 3rd, 4, 4 would get us 60 if we want to have 46 and 60 (5th from last in 2nd). So I go with BPA WR, possibly ILB or RB

Here is BPA:
goldman, DGB, darby, jake fisher, odighizuwa, eli harold, eric rowe, jalen collins, eric kendricks, jaelen strong, preston smith, maxx williams, tevin coleman, devin smith, jordan phillips, quinten rollins, tj clemmings, carl davis, benardrick mckinney, danielle hunter, sammy coates, perryman, dawson, duke johnson, ameer abdullah

And PLEASE NO MORE DL until the late round if at all: Dockett, Smith?, Dorsey, Carradine, Williams, Dial, Armstead, TJE, Ramsey, Okoye.... Even without Smith that's 6 locks and a fight for spot #7 and possibl 8 between TJE, Ramsey, Okoye. I hope we keep 7 and TJE and Okoye are gone.

Still could possibly use: WR, ILB, RB, OLB, CB, G/T, QB (if keeping 3 guys?), K (if dawson cut, although would go fa then not draft). Maybe even TE for the future if they plan on letting Davis go. I mean really were good but we can always use better depth at those spots.

Time for some more firepower for the Geep Chryst High Flying offense!!!
Best WR, Jalen Collins, Or maybe La'el Collins or Gregory

This. Mas velocidad por favor! Especially after seeing what the Colts just did.

Failing that, give me Duke Johnson, 49ers could use a homerun threat at RB.

Quinten Rollins

DGB, then Dawson.
Who I would target in the second if it was my choice 1. Kendricks UCLA ILB 2. Devon Smith Ohio WR 3. Jake Fisher OT. All three picks are solid and fill needs, I really like the idea of packaging the fourths together for another 2nd.

I'd take a serious look at Oregon tackle Jake Fischer. He's not the over-powering mauler type of lineman that the 49ers like but he's very good in pass protection, good technique guy, very athetlic for a lineman. Alex Boone's future seems to be shakey, and we lost Iupati, and Jake can play inside as well and prevent Kap from getting killed with pressure up the middle.

I know that when Fischer got injured, Oregon's run offense suffered tremendously, and was really helped when he returned, so he had a big impact on the field as a college athlete.
Trade Armstead to the Eagles for more 4th round picks.
