Time to put your money where your mouth is.
This is a poll about what Baalke will do, not what you want him to do.
I think he knows that the price to make a drastic move up the board would cost him valuable mid round picks, and he tends to make his living grabbing mid round talent, so that move is probably out. Even if Cooper or White start to slid past the 5-7 picks, I don't think Baalke would make the move unless they reached the 11-13 range. Baalke will not gamble to jump any higher.
Standing pat at 15 does make sense. He could just sit back and take the best fit for the team, as he has addressed the major holes in the roster, and is now looking to add depth and competition. Smith, Bush, Wright, and Dockett all address the obvious holes from last year's roster. And the first two players add a speed element to the offense that has been absent for some time. (I was begging for this all offseason)
To trade back and acquire more picks seems to be the most likely Baalke move in this draft. He is confident his his scouting, and Im sure he thinks he can grab a great defensive talent later in round 1. I predict him moving back in the 19-24 range and adding a mid round draft pick. His position will be envious for a team looking to target one of the top 2 RBs, as well as anyone one of the top-10 prospects that may begin to slip. A highly coveted corner or OT could also be a target for a team at 15.
The obvious choice for a trading partner would be the Eagles. So that will be the team I predict we trade back with.

I think this. But, Baalke with have several scenarios. Some to move up and more to move down. So, I believe he doesn't know which way he'll go at this moment.
Seen a few mocks that show Devante Parker falling to 15. I doubt he could pass on that one.

I think there is as good of a chance of us moving down (or up) as there is us staying at 15. I think it will depend on what teams want to move up as. Just like the past how many years we looked to move up and it wasn't worth it. If the board at 15 doesn't fall like he wants it he could very well move back 5-10 spots and pick up a 2nd or 3rd and still get who he wants. Nobody knows what Baalke will do that's what makes draft day so fun for 9er fans. He's all over the place. Just when you think you have him figured out he fools us all again. Expect the unexpected. If there is a guy you haven't paid much attention to in your draft prep it will likely be that guy. Someone you ignored a little thinking he wont be the guy.

Why would the eagles want to move up to 15? MM will be long gone by then.

Targeting a cornerback seems like a good reason.

Unless a real major target starts falling big time, he holds at #15.

I think he's going to move down a few spots, or at least try to.

Baalke will trade down if a team makes him the right offer...he just signed LB Phillip Wheeler for more vet depth, so my prediction of him taking TE Clive Walford may have more legs now. TB will still draft an ILB, but not necessarily in 2nd rd, which is where he should grab Walford.

This is my thinking as well. Its pointless to try and predict these things because 90% of what Baalke is going to do depends on 14 other GMs
