Not a bad mock at all - I'd be pretty happy with it. Not convinced that Parker will still be there at 15 (It's going to be close - just need one or two surprises for him to drop to that slot).

Nice. Would maybe swap wr with a cb in the first.
Maybe trade up in the 4th to get a wr closer to the third like Ty Montgomery or Phillip Dorsett

Not really a fan of the top two CBs (Waynes/Peters) I mean how many 1st round CBs have been busts in the past 5 years?
I think there is a ton of talent at CB in the 3rd-4th round and that's where I'd expect Baalke to grab someone.
Montgomery we need a #1 not another project at WR.

Yeah, this is in line with my ideal draft. CB/DL in the first, ILB in the second and CB/DL in the 3rd. Then I think there will be some real value at WR, OL and RB in the 4th and 5th.

who's of real value at WR in the 4th? I mean we already have plenty of developmental WRs on the team...if we wait until the 4th (again) to grab a WR, i'd rather pass on the position all together.
After the 2nd tier of WRs are gone there's a real drop off....I don't see one prospect in the 4th or later that would be a step up from Patton or Ellington.

Dezmin Lewis, Josh Harper, Stefon Diggs, Ty Montgomery, Chris Conley...all guys I would like to see on the roster who would have a chance to compete for a spot with Ellington or Patton.
Unless one of the top 3 falls to us at 15, I'd rather go BPA and fill needs on the D in the first 3 rounds.

Conely and Diggs won't be there in the 4th....all the others you speak of are not upgrades at all.
Like I said how many 1st rd CB bust has there been in the past 5 years? Waynes slow 20 yard shuttle (ran a faster 40 which isn't a good thing) and his slow 3-cone tell me he isn't great at quick adjustments which is a big problem for a CB....Peters is a head case, who at DL is worth a top 15 pick? Armstead, Goldman,Brown?? No way any of those guys are BPA.
I'd rather move up for a play maker that we know will be a stud at WR vs another project that sits the bench.....again.

I think the Niners need a backup tackle more than another guard.

I would send Baalke a Thank you note if the draft went down like this. This is one of the best Mock drafts I have seen. The issue is the first three picks you are hoping that the three players "fall" to the Niners, as they are projected to go just slightly higher.

Thank you! no more projects...we need a WR that can make Kap better because at this point he isn't making our WRs better.
