AB81Rules' 2015 NFL Draft Rankings- Top 256, Positional, etc..

Below are my Final Positional Rankings, Offensive wise

Quarterbacks:

1. Marcus Mariota*, Oregon (6'3, 222 lbs, 4.52 40 Time)

Analysis: Mariota is a good accurate QB, he has good size, is great in short passes, a fast and speedy QB, good at fitting the ball into tight spots, pro ready, and dangerous with both his arm, and feet. While he doesn't have the best accurate long ball, and he tends to hold onto the ball for too long.

2. Jameis Winston*, Florida State (6'4, 230 lbs, 4.80 40 Time)

Analysis: Winston has a good size frame, beautiful release, good arm strength, and good accuracy. However he tends to force throws, and over throws some passes.

3. Brett Hundley*, UCLA (6'3, 226 lbs, 4.63 40 Time)

Anaysis: Hundley has good size, has good accuracy, fits the ball into tight spots nicely, is a good scrambling QB, and has good speed. However he does tend to throw into double and triple coverage at times.

4. Garrett Grayson, Colorado State (6'2, 213 lbs, 4.85 40 Time)

Analysis: Grayson is a high riser, with nice size, good accuracy, good arm strength. But he doesn't have great speed, and some could say that he is being overhyped due to playing in a lower level FBS conference.

5. Bryce Petty, Baylor (6'3, 230 lbs, 4.87 40 Time)

Analysis: Petty has good arm strength, is a decent running QB, and has decent accuracy. He does tend to over throw at times, and is under a ton of pressure.

6. Sean Mannion, Oregon State (6'6, 229 lbs, 5.14 40 Time)

Analysis: Mannion has great size, and good arm strength. However he tends to over throw at times, along with not being the most accurate QB, and not having the best speed.

7. Shane Carden, East Carolina (6'2, 218 lbs, 4.94 40 Time)
8. Connor Halliday, Washington State (6'3, 196 lbs, 4.87 40 Time)
9. Cody Fajardo, Nevada (6'1, 223 lbs, 4.63 40 Time)
10. Brandon Bridge, South Alabama (6'4, 229 lbs, 4.72 40 Time)
11. Blake Sims, Alabama (5'11, 218 lbs, 4.57 40 Time)
12. Bryan Bennett, SE Louisiana (6'2, 211 lbsm 4.81 40 Time)

Running Backs:

1. Melvin Gordon*, Wisconsin (6'0, 215 lbs, 4.52 40 Time)

Analysis: Gordon possesses good size, is a play maker, always makes something out of nothing, is a good pass, and run blocker, and a TD machine. But he doesn't have elite breakaway speed, and he tends to get stuffed at the line of scrimmage at times.

2. Todd Gurley*, Georgia (6'0, 222 lbs, 4.50 40 Time)

Analysis: Gurley has good size, is a play maker, a tough runner, good blocker, and has good vision. He doesn't posses elite breakaway speed, and he is coming off an ACL injury, so that may be of concern to some teams.

3. Tevin Coleman*, Indiana (5'11, 206 lbs, 4.55 40 Time)

Analysis: Coleman has good size, possesses good vision, is a good runner, and a play maker. He does get stuffed at times, drops some easy passes, and doesn't have elite speed.

4. Jay Ajayi*, Boise State (5'9, 205 lbs, 4.57 40 Time)

Analysis: Ajayi is a dynamic runner, has good vision, is an all around play maker, and a TD machine. He doesn't have the best speed, he does get stuffed at times, and he came in undersized at the combine.

5. Duke Johnson*, Miami(Fla.) (5'9, 207 lbs, 4.54 40 Time)

Analysis: Johnson has great vision, he looks faster on tape than what his 40 time indicates, is a play maker, a great pass catching back, and a tough runner. He is an undersized back, and he has issues holding onto the ball.

6. Ameer Abdullah, Nebraska (5'9, 205 lbs, 4.60 40 Time)

Analysis: Abdullah looks faster on tape than his 40 time indicates, he is a tough runner, has good vision, and is a play maker. He is undersized, and had fumble issues in college.

7. David Cobb, Minnesota (5'11, 229 lbs, 4.81 40 Time)

Analysis: Cobb has good size, is a play maker, tough runner, has good vision, and a workhorse. He however doesn't have the best speed.

8. David Johnson, Northern Iowa (6'1, 224 lbs, 4.50 40 Time)

Analysis: Johnson has great size, good speed, a tough runner, and has good vision. However maybe playing for a lower level school could make his stats look better than they are.

9. T.J. Yeldon*, Alabama (6'1, 226 lbs, 4.61 40 Time)

Analysis: Yeldon has great size, looks faster on tape than what his 40 time would indicate, is a tough runner, and has good vision. However he is not the best pass blocker, and gets stuffed at times.

10. Mike Davis*, South Carolina (5'9, 217 lbs, 4.61 40 Time)

Analysis: Davis is a tough runner, a play maker, has good vision, and a good pass catching back. However he is a smaller back, not the fastest back, and gets stuffed at times.

11. Javorious Allen*, USC (6'0, 221 lbs, 4.53 40 Time)
12. Jeremy Langford, Michigan State (6'0, 208 lbs, 4.42 40 Time)
13. Cameron Artis-Payne, Auburn (5'10, 212 lbs, 4.53 40 Time)
14. Karlos Williams, Florida State (6'0, 230 lbs, 4.48 40 Time)

18. Marcus Murphy, Missouri (5'8, 193 lbs, 4.61 40 Time)
19. Josh Robinson*, Mississippi State (5'9, 215 lbs, 4.65 40 Time)
20. Dominique Brown, Louisville (6'2, 234 lbs, 4.60 40 Time)
21. Trey Williams*, Texas A&M (5'7, 195 lbs, 4.49 40 Time)
22. Terrance Magee, LSU (5'8, 213 lbs, 4.57 40 Time)

Wide Receiver:

1. Amari Cooper*, Alabama (6'0, 201 lbs, 4.42 40 Time)

Analysis: Cooper has good size, really good speed, is a dynamic play maker, a decent blocker, great pass catcher, and ready for the NFL. I honestly see no flaws for him.

Wow, good job, AB.
I appreciate the hard work. Nice job. In my rankings I posted, I disagree with you on several players. My biggest questions are: Why so low on Preston Smith? Also, why so high on Hackett but so low on Randall?
Love it. Thanks for all the hard work, AB.

Is it Thursday, yet?
nice. I'm so freaking excited, I can barely sleep at night. uhg....2 more days....
AB,
Where do I send my subscription money?
Thanks.

By the way, you don't seem to have Shaq Thompson in your 256.

Wow, lots of info, lol

Great work, very impressive to put all that together. Wish I had the time and energy!
Also, FWIW I think you are improving on your content. Not that I'm any kind of judge, just my 2 cents
Stealing from your board, here's some of my value picks. I didn't have time to do a mock, but here's a group of guys I like for where I anticipate them being selected. I largely ignored the 1st round, except for a pair of knuckleheads.

8 DE/OLB Shane Ray*, Missouri: weed and foot injury pushes him down

26 CB Marcus Peters*, Washington: could be best CB in this class if he can keep his attitude in check... Maturity

42 OT Jake Fisher, Oregon: starting material at a bargain

79 CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, Oregon: ballhawks and willing tackler. Starting CB by year 2.

107 CB P.J. Williams*, Florida State: physical DB, very willing tackler with ball skills. Feels like a Baalke pick to me.

115 OT Cedric Ogbuehi, Texas A&M: this year's Brandon Thomas

123 DE Henry Anderson, Stanford: WZ favorite, couldn't omit him.

137 DT Joey Mbu, Houston: will contribute early and make an impact inside.

140 FS Damarious Randall, Arizona State: same theme... DB that likes contact and has ball skills.

145 DT Marcus Hardison, Arizona State: rare athleticism for a man his size. His best football is ahead of him. He'll excel as a 3-4 DE, especially as he continues to add power to his game.

156 RB Karlos Williams, Florida State: big, fast back that finishes as well as anyone in the draft. His legs keep churning for extra yards. With some coaching he could be a late round steal. In the meantime, he'll be a standout on ST covering kickoffs. Has the versatility that Baalke loves. He's the Boobie Dixon replacement.

168 WR Vince Mayle, Washington State: Ultra-productive and has a physicality to his game. Safe pick for Baalke if he doesn't grab a guy early.

185 WR Antwan Goodley, Baylor: compact, smooth WR that's been forgotten this season. An upgrade over Ellington, IMO.

186 TE Wes Saxton, Alabama: excels at catching quick throws. Could develop into a contributor if we decide to implement a quick-throwing attack. Also was used to block and peel off for a quick strike. Poor route runner, but can find holes underneath in zone.

199 TE Blake Bell, Oklahoma: love his potential. He's a big body and has that rare toughness, ala Michael Robinson, that you don't normally see from converted QBs.

211 QB Brandon Bridge, South Alabama: live arm, developmental project

212 QB Blake Sims, Alabama: I hate Alabama, but I love his poise. He makes things look too easy at times. He'll never be Russell Wilson, but he shows flashes that reminds you of him.

237 QB Bryan Bennett, SE Louisiana: staying with mobile QBs to develop. I think he'll be an Eagle by this weekend.

Thanks man, I appreciate that, I always enjoyed working with you, so I was able to learn some stuff from you.
Awesome job! I noticed Ty Montgomery was listed at 75 and 167. On my phone right now so I can't do much research into who you missed at 75, but I'm guessing someone else should go there.
Nice work, AB. Thanks for the info.
