NFL Network's Ian Rapoport mentions the Jaguars, Texans, and Dolphins as potential landing spots for Georgia RB Todd Gurley.

Note that all of the teams named by RapSheet select in the top half of the first round. On the board at No. 3 overall, the Jags would presumably target Gurley in a trade down. Coming off November ACL surgery, Gurley could be "eased in" behind Arian Foster and Lamar Miller in Houston and Miami, respectively.

No one expected the Jags to pick Bortles last season, maybe they suprise everyone again and take Gurley at #3. If you feel he is the next AP would you not use the 3rd overall pick on an AP like running back when that is a need for your team as well? I'm not saying I think Gurley is the next AP, but it seems some teams might think so. Which if that's the case #3 overall isn't too high.

Not to mention that would give your young 'franchise' QB in Bortles a stud RB to pair with him, and they drafted 2 WR's in the first 2 rounds last year in Marquise Lee and I can't recall the other selection.

Except in reality teams boards have hardly changed. All the "risers" are players that were already high on boards or false info being spread by teams trying to influence the draft order.
