Goldman is one of my draft crushes this year and I feel will play super.

DGB is a gamble but WTF - if he pans out it will be a major steal

Marcus Hardison is a beast.

Fine job!

Thank you sir! DGB certainly isn't a must but Baalke's got the balls to make that move at that spot...if not him, we have several other options no doubt after trading down (finger crossed). I think last year Carolina, one spot ahead of us, grabbed Kelvin Benjamin who was our #1 target. If DGB falls in our lap at this spot, he's going to pull the trigger IMHO.

I just really don't see how DGB falls to 46. My jaw would drop if that happened. He's too talented.
Advanced football analytics has it at 26% chance that DGB is there at 46. But they have him at 90% chance to be there at 15. I just say we take him at 15. No later then 21.

So this is my "Moving & Shaking" 2015 Mock Draft.

Trades (x2): Traded the 15th for the 25th and 56th & traded the 127th for the 153rd and 184th
1 (25/25): NT Eddie Goldman
2 (14/46): *XWR Dorial Green-Beckham
2 (24/56): RDE Marcus Hardison
3 (15/79): TE Clive Walford
4 (27/132 COMP): FS Kurtis Drummond
5 (15/151): **ZWR Dezmin Lewis
5 (25/153): ILB Taiwan Jones
6 (24/184): OLB Ryan Russell
6 (14/189): XCB Tray Walker
7 (29/246): RB1 Matt Jones
7 (37/254 COMP): **PK Justin Manton

*Player is expected to drop to the early to mid-second round due to 5 other WR's expected to go in the first round already (Cooper, White, Parker, Strong & Perriman), some character/immaturity concerns & lack of big-time overall production; too many unknowns for a first rounder
**Only player not visited with (or recorded)

UDFA Position Targets: LG, T, QB & P
(Shane McDermott C 6'4" 302, Darryl Roberts CB Y 5'11" 190 4.36, Chris Dunkley CB Y 5'11" 183 4.57, Tory Slater DE R 6'5" 290, Travis Raciti DE R 6'4" 288, Michael Lowe FS 5'11" 207 4.72, Ben Beckwith G L 6'4" 317, A.J. Tarpley ILB MIKE 6'0" 232 4.75, Tavaris Barnes OLB SAM 6'3" 275 4.85, Ryan Delaire OLB WILL 6'4" 254 4.67, Devin Gardner QB 6'4" 205 4.50, Keon Williams RB1 6'0" 238 4.58, Marcus Murphy RB2 5'8" 198 4.61, Cameron Clear TE 6'5" 277 4.92, Brock Lutes TE H 6'4" 230 4.47, Da'Ron Brown WR Y 6'0" 205 4.54, Ricky Collins WR Y 5'11" 196 4.57 & DeAnder Carter WR Y 5'8" 185 4.44)

Notes: Release Ian Williams saving $1,162,500 with only $333,334 in dead money. In short, get a 2-gap starting NT for Mangini (makes the entire 3-4 defense better), gain an additional 2nd rounder, save $1.16M and still have veteran depth with Dorsey behind him (plus Dial if needed). Also, only Dezmin Lewis and Justin Manton are the only two players picked that we weren't tied to thus far.

And here is the "Staying Pat" 2015 Draft Picks:
1 (15/15): ZWR DeVante Parker
2 (14/46): TED Stephone Anthony
3 (15/79): LDE Xavier Cooper
4 (27/127): FS Kurtis Drummond
4 (33/132): SAM Lynden Trail
5 (15/151): XWR Ty Montgomery
6 (14/189): XCB Tray Walker
7 (29/246): WILL Zach Wagenmann
7 (37/254): ZCB Tye Smith

Would be extremely happy with either drafts but slightly happier with the first because of how gnarly our dline would be. Great job NC, have to disagree with cutting Ian though. If he stays healthy he can do extremely well.

Well that's not a bad move either...trade back and grab DGB and pick up another 2nd/3rd.

But it's really a numbers game. How many WR's are REALLY going to go within the first 46 picks? Right now, they are ranked like this: Amari Cooper, Kevin White, DeVante Parker, Nelson Agholor, Jaelen Strong, Philip Dorsett, Breshad Perriman, Devin Smith, Dorial Green-Beckham & Sammie Coates. The bolded players have all moved up the draft board a lot recently and DGB is the only one with any question-marks. That usually scares GM's in the first round. Usually.

To your point, that still doesn't mean someone won't fall in love with him and grabs him late in the first. It only takes one...

Thanks! I love Williams too...just one of those tough things a GM would need to consider d/t the cap hit. Maybe a trade for a future draft pick? If not, we can afford him either way which is the great news! But only 2 NT's would most likely make the team so...

And NO NO NO on DBG... i got off the bandwagon when I realized how much of a project he is. I'm tired of drafting projects I want WRs ready to contribute. Last year we saw what rookie WRs are capable of. Let's get ourselves one that's polished as can be.

I love Goldman, Hardison and T. Jones... defense wins championships!!!

What you saw last year was DBs not allowed to touch guys. What happens if you can't touch a guy like DGB?

Thanks man, esp. coming from you! The great news is we wouldn't HAVE to cut Williams. So we'd be good either way!

Yes when I get optimism and excitement from AB it truly makes my day!
