And, the draft crush is Davante Parker. Guess Baalke would take him if he was available at #15.
Never believe anything you read this time of the year...
MB does his draft crush every year....Parker would be a solid complement to Boldin/Smith. He has the length and speed to beat DBs. great red-zone threat as well....if for some reason he is there he will be the pick.
Agreed.
We'll see...
Don't get me wrong, Pat. If Parker or any of the top three WR's are not available, your plan works for me, too.
Here is my ideal mock:
I have us trading our 1st, 2nd and 4th to the Redskins for their 1st rd (5th overall pick) and their 5th rd pick
RD 1 Amari Cooper
RD 3 Donovan Smith strong OL who can help with our new zone blocking, ideal for pass protecting
RD 4 DE Henry Anderson (some sites have him projected here)
RD 5 CB Kevin White (need more bodies in our CB corps, cover corner, size, blankets possesion wrs, plays special teams, has ball skills, goes for the ball for fumbles
RD 5 ILB Ramik Wilson (he makes productive and impact tackles,he mirrors plays with ease,he pushes offensive linemen around,he is verstile rated as the best SEC tackling LB he goes sideline to sideline and thus he can help our depleted ILB corps)
RD 6 TE Wes Saxton (clean target for Colin,he has a good catch radius,he plays in traffic he is a former wr,he is a matchup problem, some scouts say he is too much for Linebackers to handle. He can replace VD one day,we can get our blocking te down the road a diamond in the rough, better than Waller)
RD 7 LB Derrick Malone fast and athletic plays both ILB and OLB played on a winning Oregon team

Pretty good guessing as to how 3 of the chips would fall.

Getting 3 picks right, especially after the first couple rounds is pretty impressive. Nice job!
