I'd he happy with Peters and Perryman. I'm not thrilled with the 3rd and 4th rounds, but I think Bell would be great value in the 5th. Bell is a natural athlete and physical. It wouldn't take him long to pass Vance on the depth chart. Bridge is an interesting backup with good size and arm strength.

Bell seems pretty raw to me being he was a QB not that long ago. Can he block? That is something Vac has improved in a lot since coming into the league, I don't see really and TE's in this draft that are better than Vance let alone Bell. I doubt he would he be active on game days or take over Vance's spot....man everyone is just ready to throw him in the trash after being drafted in the 2nd round and playing for a year in a half (was injured this past year) and playing behind a pro-bowl TE.
Carrier is probably better than Bell at this point and they just extended his contract.

I don't think the Niners go 1st round 3rd in a row with a DB. Three out of four 1st round selections in one position group is unprecedented. Even the unique three 1st rounders in the OL is in a five-man position group. They might have to replace them all when the rookie contracts end.

Like the mock BUT agree w/m_brockalexander.
I don't understand why some of you are so certain that Trent Baalke would select DeVante Parker? He's a good prospect, but it's not a lock.

Why shouldn't he? Give us a reason he wouldn't.

Baalke is unpredictable. We never know what he's going to do?

And, the draft crush is Davante Parker. Guess Baalke would take him if he was available at #15.

MB does his draft crush every year....Parker would be a solid complement to Boldin/Smith. He has the length and speed to beat DBs. great red-zone threat as well....if for some reason he is there he will be the pick.
