which round would you target him?
4th round
I would not be mad if they drafted him in the 4th. With Torrey Smith signed, I actually hope they wait that long to draft a receiver.

It's makes zero sense for the 49ers to draft this kid. He doesn't give us anything that we don't already have.

We don't need a returner, we have Holliday, Bush, Ellington, and Hyde.

There's a few guys who might be better options...like Stefon Diggs (visiting this week, I believe), Nelson Agholor, maybe even Chris Conley. We don't need an inconsistent WR...we need playmakers who catch the ball consistently.

You think Holliday is still gonna have a spot on our team after training camp? I honestly dont think so. There's a reason he was a free agent for awhile.
Bush isn't the return man he used to be. Ellington didn't really provide a spark with his return duties. And if Hyde is now the #1 back, I doubt they have him back there returning kicks, too

Ellington was 7th in avg return yards and 11th in total yards last year,That's not bad for a 1st year player... and Bush/Ellington would most likely take over punt returns.
They compare Ty to Patterson in that he's basically a running back playing WR, he can't run routes, has bad hands, and he's only avg 9.9 yards per game
If he is around later than the 4th it might be a good gamble, but I would not want him as our 1st WR grabbed in this draft...he brings nothing special to our WR group and I don't think you can't have Ellington, Patton, and Montgomery all active...if Boldin and or Smith get hurt we will be in bad shape at WR.....

There is a reason he is forgotten. Not a fan of him and I would be mad if this is the only wr we get in the draft.

This...there are some real good prospects and we have a chance to get a very good one in the 1st two rounds.

Why take one in the first two rounds when we just signed Torrey Smith? Weren't you someone that said we should target a need? this WR class is pretty strong, too.
