Stop having a Crush for Parker,he`s not all that, if he is having trouble in college with separation what will happen when he goes up against elite coverage in the NFL?
He avg 19.9 yards a catch this year (separation issues?), that's better than any of the other prospect talked about in the 1st round. He was also only created with 3 drops since 2012, not to shabby.
I'll take the field on he's evaluation vs one guy
I would not take Parker if he falls to #15 and he might. But if he's there, other teams will be willing to trade up for him. Baalke needs to trade down and I will add that I think he should trade out of the 1st Rd. This draft class has 1st Rd talent and value only in the upper half of the 1st. The real value of this draft class is rounds 2 thru 4, if I was Baalke, I would stockpile 2nd,3rd and 4th RD picks where he can find DL, OL, CB, WR, ILB, TE quality choices. This team needs to do a major reload, just look at safety, Bethea says he has one more year and Reid is 2 concussions away from hanging them up. On the DL, Justin Smith has at best one year, Dockett maybe two. CB is where there is more depth than other defensive positions with young guys like Johnson, Reaser, Acker and Ward (although he's goin to end up at safety).
On offense, Niners need another OL, a RB (Bush is short term), a TE (Davis may have only a couple of years left) and a WR to replace Boldin.

Lol How did Clowney work out this year? Doesn't matter because 1. We're talking about prospects here and 2. He was injured. So that points moot.
Your conveniently ignoring the hundreds of other analysts who have watched tons of film and agree that Parker is a going to be a force and instead focus on one persons opinion. That's what makes this argument so ineffective.
Parkers game isn't separation. He out jumps and out fights CB for the ball. He one of those receivers that are always open because of his ability, even if if the CB is on his hip.
Whose being convenient now! clowney was NOT living up to expectations before He got HURT,Ooh did you forget that part....just wow,I glad you are not our GM you will have every OVERHYPED player drafted and it would be a mess of a team with you running things..Look I don`t want PARKER,I would take Strong,White, Cooper DGB, Perriman get the PICTURE Son.

and I like this about Strong:
After watching Arizona State WR Jaelen Strong's college tape, NFL Films' Greg Cosell believes Strong doesn't maximize his speed because he is an unrefined route runner.
Draftniks were shocked when Strong ran 4.44 at the Combine; he doesn't play that fast. Cosell believes this can be fixed. "He's a kid that needs to tighten his route running quite a bit," said Cosell. "Lot of wasted motion in his route running, which prevents him from maximizing his speed. My guess is that can be taught." Cosell praised Strong for "very, very good body control" and his ability to win contested catches. Strong is a polarizing prospect, but should be a top-50 pick.
any question why WE should`nt draft Parker now? I would pick Strong before Parker
Strong's own comments before combine about his game is he thinks the area of his game that he need to improve on is route running and getting out of his breaks quicker, not his speed. I agree.

I do agree with his assessment on Strong and think he's going to be the better receiver in time.
Crabtree was much more agressive in college than he has been in the NFL. I loved the pick at the time and thought he would be fantastic...just never paired him with a speed option so all was for naught!
Not sure if his injuries affected his agressiveness or whether it's mental...but he became very soft over time.

Likewise
he'd make for a great complement to Smith IMO. While Smith/VD are commanding safety help your leaving Parker one-on-one. I'll take Parker's 80 inch wingspan who's been catching balls over CBs his whole college career in that situation all day.
In 6 games this year he avg 20 yards per catch, 142 ypg, 7 catches per game, and 0.83 TDs per game. That's all with a horrible QB and Parker being the only real threat on offense.
There are other WRs I like, but if he's there at 15 they should think about taking him. He is the 2nd best all-round WR in the draft IMO.

They all ran the 40 yard dash at the same speed or slower than Parker.
I will be more than happy to "get over it", if you can tell me how he is over rated and over hyped? Is it his 33 TDs? Is it his 18 yds/catch average? Is it how he toasted PJ Wiliams who is one of the top corners in the draft when they played?
The sooner you realize that if he is there at 15 (Which he probably won't be) we are gonna take him, the better off you will be. The sooner we all learn how to use grammar and punctuation the better the forum will be.
Your argument is invalid because for everyone of the players you mentioned above there are 10 players who have done little to nothing at the NFL level. Just because a player runs a fast 40 time does not mean he plays at that time I.e Stephan hill ran a 4.3 something at the combine but plays like he runs a 4.6.Also your argument that Parker "toasted" Pj Williams dosent fly with me because if you have ever watched Pj play you would realize that he can not cover anyone he constantly got torched by players last year and he wasn't even the best corner on his team last year.

I think your jumping the gun a little on Clowney lol. He played in 4 games before getting hurt. I believe he had surgery last summer and missed time as well. He was without a doubt the best prospect coming into the draft last year.

Lol again. You can't compare a first year pro to a prospect, that'd what I said with #1. I'm comparing the prospect Clowney to the prospect Gregory. Clowney was obviously the superior prospect. I get the picture dude calm down with the caps. Lol.
But I degress from the point of this thread. I in fact would rather not take a WR in the first. It's the least important position in the game outside FB. I'd rather take a CB in the first, like Peters. I just think your blind hatred of Parker is as illogical as it is impractical.

Exactly. Thank you. Comparing a prospect and a first year pro doesn't make sense.

Actually, my argument was that there are plenty of "#1 WRs" that run a 4.45 or slower. Shoot, Anquan Boldin ran a 4.7. That's plenty of speed to go along with his production in college.
Also, PJ Williams is rated a top 5 corner in the draft by most "draft experts" and is expected to go late 1st early 2nd. You can't pick and choose which evaluations you are gonna believe an which ones you are gonna discard.
Finally, I asked you to explain what it is that actually makes Parker "overrated and over hyped." I am still waiting for a response.
