I think they should take Bryant Young, DT from Notre Dame. He'd be a good replacement for Justin Smith.

My guess is up to #4 trade with the raiders and get Kevin White if we were very lucky Leonard Williams. Which is probably not very realistic.
Andra,
You could have spent another 5 minutes searching this topic and you would have found the draft value chart. You can answer your own question. Almost positive we have 1 stickied in the forum.

It won't. Using the chart it's 1480 pts. Which is just about the 7th pick.
I say hell to the no.

I don't want to trade our 2 since I think we can get a good player there. We could get in the 6-8 range & maybe get Cooper or Shelton, but I'd rather stay put or trade back.

I guess my question is why would you want to play the what if game when there's no way Baalke would ever do that. If anything, he'll trade down to get more picks...it's his MO and what makes the most sense. He has a number of other draft needs, and there are a lot of other excellent WR's to be taken. Scroll back a few years...Atlanta virtually traded away half their draft + future picks to land Julio Jones...and while he's a great WR, it was their undoing as a team. It's time to get real...why not do some homework, do a realistic mock, then get feedback.

I see us trading back with Dallas because they are going to need a rb. I would rather pick up an extra 2nd rounder. I think we could only get up to 7th or 8th with our 2nd rounder.

There isn't a running back worth taking at 15. I think Dallas may trade up a few spots to make sure they get their guy but not all the way to 15. It wouldn't shock me to see Gordon fall to their pick. I think Carolina is more likely as a trade back partner since they need O Line help.

Nobody seem to like the idea of trading to move up

Their first rounder. Not there first rounder. Makes a difference

Amari Cooper is the best WR in the draft. He went through multiple OC's in college with different sytems and production never dropped off. The Niners need a true #1 WR and Cooper is that person. I would give up our 1st and 2nd in a heartbeat to get Cooper.
Stay positive, it is about getting playmakers. Remember when the Niners traded down when they could have got zach ertz in round 2?? They got McDonald as TE in the same round further down in round 2, so far McDonald has been a puzzle and Ertz is a blue chip NFL player.

I am more of a Kevin White fan but I do think this would be the year to move up and get a star WR.Originally posted by 9erred:Amari Cooper is the best WR in the draft.
