i think we go OL in the first too. pretty sure getting back to a run heavy offense is top of the priorities list.
I like the building of the trenches...would look at Lockett in the third as well. good draft
Not a fan...What was the point of drafting 2 O-lineman in the 1st 3 rounds last year if your not going to give them a chance to start? Thomas and M Martin will compete for the ONE starting spot (LG) I don't want a top 15 pick to be a backup. We need a swing tackle which can be had later.

Carl Davis is intriguing and has the size that Baalke loves, but his game film is very underwhelming and I didn't see much as pass rusher from him.

I didn't watch much of Perriman (besides highlights) He is kinda a unknown for me. He has the size teams like, but runs bad routes and drops a lot of easy passes. I think this would be a fine pick in the 3rd (not sure he will be there) want to see what he runs on his pro day.

Gunter ran a 4.69 I think if you want him you can wait a round or two.

I really hope our draft doesn't look anything like this.... sorry man
Uh, why draft Collins? Where does he even play this year? And what about the guys we took last year? They don't even get a chance to play? We need help at our weak spots. Hence why WR is so popular in most mocks. We need a WR threat for the future. Perriman isn't the answer to our problems.
It's good. I wouldn't be unhappy, if this was the draft outcome.
I think this is the least likely scenario of what we do in the draft with our 1st round pick. We didn't draft Marcus Martin and Brandon Thomas early last year to just ride the bench. One of those 2 will be starting in Iupati's spot this year (probably Martin) and I think Thomas takes over for Boone the following year.

Probably to play G and backup A. Davis since we're going to lose Lupati and Martin sucks btw.

Staley/Boone
Collins/Martin
Kilgore/Martin
Boone/Thomas
Davis/Collins
I had the same first 3 picks, I think getting Perriman and Davis will require a move up from our spots though.

How is he any better than Thomas?? Thomas was regarded as a 2nd round pick then got injured. Why look to the draft when you have two capable players waiting?
both M Martin and B Thomas played LG as some point in college.

J Martin does suck and they need to focus on a backup tackle.

I doubt Perriman falls to the 3rd rd.

I agree with NYniner85. Not a fan of Collins with the 1st pick. Would prefer a legit WR, OLB or DL prospect.

I like Davis and Perriman if they were available at those picks.
No thanks.

Staley is getting older, Thomas is coming from an ACL-injury, A.Davis is injury-prone, Boone played bad last year, and just got one year left on his contract, Iupati probably gone.

So yeah, i would love if we pick a top OT/OG prospect in the first round. Especially when guys like Kevin White and Devante Parker are already off the board.

Btw, would love to see your mock draft.

Staley is getting older? He is only 30 and just signed a extension lol. Thomas has had a full year to fix the ACL and was regarded as a 2nd rd pick before the injury. IF they felt like he couldn't come back from the injury why would the spend a 3rd on him? Davis is injury prone? He has played every game for the past 4 years besides this year. He had surgery and his 1st concussion far from injury prone. Boone had a bad year, I'll agree with you on that. He came on strong towards the end of the season and having Jonathan Martin starting next to him didn't help lol.

Collins isn't the top OT/OG prospect in my eyes. You don't spend a top 15 pick on a guard unless he's at a Mike Iupati or Zack Martin level, which he isn't. Also if you want to get a OT/OG for the future why not grab Cedric Ogbuehi in the 3rd or 4th?

They will have one spot to fill and that's LG, which Thomas and Martin both played at some point in college. They need a swing tackle to take Jonathan Martin's spot which can be had later.

If Carl Davis is there in the 2nd I'd like that pick, I'm still trying to see what kind of pass rush he has because he was a little underwhelming in that department. He does have the length and size the Baalke loves ...same with Perriman I didn't get to watch much of him, but he seems to have size and speed we are looking for.

Here is my pre-combine mock that will unfortunately look nothing like my next mock lol. Some players have upgraded their stock (White) and some have dropped (Cobb).
