Some hack who used to write for this blog by the name of Jimmy Kempski tweeted out an interesting chart on Wednesday morning:
What Jimmy's highlighting here is the inaccuracy of Kiper's first mock drafts. But I can't help look at this chart and wonder... would the Eagles have been better off drafting the players Kiper had them picking instead of the players they actually took? Let's compare.

Thats a pretty good haul for us. Not sure how Quinn would play in a 3-4 but talent always seems to get on the field.

Can't really look at it that way though because some of those guys were not available at the spots we chose, plus trades up and down, etc. Would not have been a bad haul though all in all.

This. Some of those guys werent available at the time the 49ers drafted.

Blaine Gabbert and Jonathan Martin instead of Patrick Peterson and Michael Floyd.

If Aldon didn't have his off the field issues, this wouldn't even be a question.
