Mods, please move this thread here. It's more appropriate.
It is not conceivable that Baalke would spend that much to get a player.
I don't think Jacksonville would accept that trade and I think Tennessee will take Williams anyways. Williams is by far the best player in the draft and I don't think teams will value our 2016 picks that high, especially if we were getting Leonard Williams. An aging TE (31) with a big contract wouldn't be worth that much to a team multiple seasons from competing. I think we have to give up the idea of getting Williams.
f**k No

you gotta love moon tho

I don't think any defensive lineman would be worth a pro-bowl tight end and two #1's. A QB yes, if he was a top tier prospect. Jay Cutler is toxic, I don't think any sane GM would trade for him, that being said, how many sane GM's are there? Baalke would never ever trade a first round pick away. I can see Philly making noise and moving up.

How much do you think a 31 year old Vernon Davis is worth coming off a terrible season with a one year deal for 7 million? The #3 pick is worth way more than the 49ers' 15th pick this year, 1st round pick next year, and VD. There isn't a chance in Hell the Jaguars would make that trade even if we throw in the 4th round pick and 2016 3rd round pick that 9moon suggested.

Mariota will probably be available at #3 and there are rumors the Eagles would trade this year and next year's 1st and 2nd round picks for him. I think you're underestimating how much important DE's are and greatly overestimating how much Davis and our picks are worth. There's a huge difference between Williams and the players who will be there at 15.

I would make that trade in a heartbeat if Justin Smith retires, but Jacksonville would not because it favors the 49ers.

I know I make fun of your threads a lot, and I probably haven't been a very vocal supporter of your posts.

But points for creativity man, I'd miss you if you left.
