Dompernick's 2015 simulated NFL Draft

For those looking for a little entertainment, http://www.first-pick.com has a very good NFL Draft simulator. You get to select which team you want to draft for while the computer drafts for the remaining 31 teams, you can trade up and down in the draft as well as the computer will offer you trades when your selection comes up and the computer grades each pick you make as well as your draft overall. After numerous trades, this was the outcome of my draft...

Round 1 Pick 27 (DAL): Jaelen Strong, WR, Arizona State (B-)
Round 2 Pick 14: Xavier Cooper, DT/DE, Washington St. (B)
Round 2 Pick 26 (BALT): Hauoli Kikaha, OLB/DE, Washington (B+)
Round 3 Pick 9 (ATL): Tevin Coleman, RB, Indiana (A)
Round 3 Pick 15: Devin Smith, WR, Ohio State (A)
Round 3 Pick 21 (CINN): Jalen Collins, CB, LSU (A)
Round 3 Pick 26 (BALT): Lorenzo Mauldin, OLB/DE, Louisville (C+)
Round 4 Pick 8 (ATL): Jeff Heuerman, TE, Ohio State (C+)
Round 4 Pick 18 (S.D.): Austin Shepherd, OT, Alabama (C)
Round 4 Pick 29 (IND): Marcus Hardison, DT, Arizona State (B+)
Round 5 Pick 15: Ellis McCarthy, DT, UCLA (C-)
Round 6 Pick 14: Craig Mager, CB, Texas State (C-)
Round 7 Pick 4 (OAK): Josh Robinson, RB, Mississippi St. (D+)
Round 7 Pick 29: Cody Fajardo, QB, Nevada (D+)
Round 7 Pick 30 (G.B.): Sam Ficken, K, Penn State (B)

My overall draft grade came out to a 4,146 and I received a B+. Thoughts?

15 draft picks
LOL well you pretty much get multiple trade offers every time your selection comes up and multiple guys I wanted remained on the board when it was my turn to select so I kept on trading back. Obviously we won't be making 15 picks in reality but I think I did a decent job covering the Niners needs.
Here's mine:

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 15: Paul Dawson, OLB/ILB, TCU (C+)
Round 2 Pick 14: A.J. Cann, OG, South Carolina (A)
Round 3 Pick 15: Phillip Dorsett, WR, Miami (Fla.) (A)
Round 4 Pick 27: Breshad Perriman, WR, UCF (B)
Round 5 Pick 15: Ellis McCarthy, DT, UCLA (B)
Round 6 Pick 14: Craig Mager, CB, Texas State (B-)
Round 7 Pick 29: Bryan Bennett, QB, Southeastern Louisiana (D-)
That site is super fun but unrealistic not only cuz of how easy it is to trade down(I had both Seattle and then NE give up their 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounds to move up one pick) and their inconsistent board.
Your score is: 5416 (GRADE: A-)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 17 (S.D.): DeVante Parker, WR, Louisville (A-)
Round 2 Pick 14: P.J. Williams, CB, Florida State (A)
Round 2 Pick 16 (S.D.): Maxx Williams, TE, Minnesota (A-)
Round 3 Pick 15: Preston Smith, DE, Mississippi State (B+)
Round 4 Pick 27: Tyler Lockett, WR, Kansas State (B+)
Round 5 Pick 15: Xavier Williams, DT, Northern Iowa (B-)
Round 6 Pick 14: Adam Shead, OG, Oklahoma (B-)
Round 7 Pick 29: Josh Robinson, RB, Mississippi St. (A)

Killed it.
It's great fun if you can resist the silly trading down. I fooled around with this feature once and found myself with drafting at #22 and 6 picks in Round 2, just for the hell of it.

Sometimes there are strange situations of players dropping, e.g. I once got Mariota @ 15. My favourite draft of all was this (with no trading at all)

Round 1 Pick 15: Andrus Peat, OT, Stanford (A)
Round 2 Pick 14: Jordan Phillips, DT, Oklahoma (A)
Round 3 Pick 15: Jalen Collins, CB, LSU (A)
Round 4 Pick 27: Christian Covington, DT, Rice (C)
Round 5 Pick 15: Javorius Allen, RB, Southern California (A)
Round 6 Pick 14: Sean Mannion, QB, Oregon State (C-)
Round 7 Pick 29: Antwan Goodley, WR, Baylor (A)
Your score is: 5666 (GRADE: A)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 15: Amari Cooper, WR, Alabama (A)
Round 2 Pick 14: Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin (A)
Round 3 Pick 15: Mario Edwards, DE, Florida State (A)
Round 4 Pick 27: Breshad Perriman, WR, UCF (B-)
Round 5 Pick 15: Ladarius Gunter, CB, Miami (Fla.) (A-)
Round 6 Pick 14: Adam Shead, OG, Oklahoma (B-)
Round 7 Pick 29: Jean Sifrin, TE, Massachusetts (C)
Went ahead and did another with only 2 trades this time.

Your score is: 5108 (GRADE: A-)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 22 (PITT): Arik Armstead, DE, Oregon (B)
Round 2 Pick 14: Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Oklahoma (A)
Round 2 Pick 29 (IND): Danielle Hunter, DE/OLB, LSU (A)
Round 3 Pick 15: Tevin Coleman, RB, Indiana (A)
Round 3 Pick 23 (PITT): Senquez Golson, CB, Ole Miss (B)
Round 3 Pick 29 (IND): Breshad Perriman, WR, UCF (D+)
Round 4 Pick 27: Jeff Heuerman, TE, Ohio State (B)
Round 5 Pick 15: Sean Mannion, QB, Oregon State (D+)
Round 6 Pick 14: Anthony Jefferson, SS, UCLA (B-)
Round 7 Pick 29: Sam Ficken, K, Penn State (B-)

Thoughts, your draft sucked.

The last time I used the site I ended up with Dorial Green-Beckham, Devon Smith and Jamison Crowder WR. Todd Gurley and TY Yeldon at RB. Bryce Petty and Sean Mannion at QB, Maxx Williams and Nick O'leary at TE and Jake Fisher at OT and that's just the Offense.

On defense I ended up with CB's Alex Carter and Doran Grant, SS's Anthony Harris and Jordan Richards, DE's Mario Edwards and Henry Anderson, DT Michael Bennett and OLB Eli Harold.

I also got an ILB in rd 4 I forget his name and the highest rated Punter and Kicker in the draft as well. Plus a handful of players in rd 6 and 7 that would probably be poached or headed for the practice squad.

The site is fun but not very realistic. I ened up with the 30th pick in rd 1 and 9 2nd rounders plus another 8 3rd and 4th rounders. I could have had more but I stopeed trading back after the 1st round I had soo many picks.

My favorite part was where the site listed my score as like 15th best. It would be the dream come true haul of the century and it's 15th best?
