Excellent Mock, very well thought out. Devin Smith can fly and that would open up the passing game. My only concern is he another Buckeye in the mold of Ted Ginn.

I'm afraid he will be worse then Ginn..I watch college close and he didn't show up until this year but looked great..so many players can fly and run fast in college and look great but the next level it takes more..most 1 trick pony speedsters end up struggling and sitting on the sidelines wondering why..speed is great but the nfl is a mans game..not playing kids in college..I was the highest on 3 speedsters in the past that are out of the league now...Jacoby Ford..marquise Goodwin..Stephen hill..so it's a tough call..

IF Baalke thinks there is a realistic chance Ogbuehi slides that far because of his ACL injury count me in. Has the traits to be an excellent fit in a ZBS.

TE Virgil Green 6-5 255 Denver Broncos would be a nice addition if we can create the cap space.

Don't really see that comparison because Smith is much physically stronger than Ginn was entering the draft. He also high points the football better than Ginn.

Note
Just realized I falsely listed TE Garrett Celek as ERFA (2 year NFLexperience) instead of RFA (3 year NFL experience) on my Excel sheet.
- The tender for a ERFA is $585K
- The tender for a RFA is $1.4M
It makes no sense to pay Celek $1.4 Million to have a backup plan / create competition in TC.
I fixed the typo in the OP.

So you like a guy with a torn ACL that won't help in any way in 2015, but you don't like a guy that fills a huge need in a field stretching WR? I'd be pump to get him and Sheldon with our 1st two picks.

This...Ginn never goes up a gets the ball and try's to avoid any contact. Smith is much more physical and you saw his game go up once Jones came in with his cannon arm.

Djax and T.Y aren't sitting on the sidelines, Ford and Goodwin are much smaller than Smith and Hill shouldn't have been drafted that high, He never developed but had the tools.
You need to check out he's work ethic, I wonder how hard Smith wants to work on his craft? I didn't see much of that from Hill.
Smith would also replace Osgood in ST. He was one of the best gunners in college...I'm really starting to warm up to this kid and would be pumped if he is there in the 2nd and I wouldn't even mind trading up to get him.

I would try to re-sign either Culliver or Cox and then add depth/competition in the 4th - 7th Round via the Draft.
2015 Training Camp CB´s
- Culliver / Cox
- Brock
- Johnson
- McFadden
- Cook
- Acker
- Reaser
- Fuller
- Rookie
A lot of talent and competition.

4th Round Selection DE/OLB Corey Crawford 6-5 264 Clemson
ESPN
- Age (24 year old rookie)
- Average first-step quickness
- Has ideal frame with long arms and good top-end speed
- Hasn't missed any time with injuries
- Flashes a variety of pass rush moves
- Versatile. Can kick inside to rush the passer
CBS
- 6-5 with enormous wingspan
- Able to keep blockers out of his frame and disengage seemingly at will at times
- Flashes both power-rush ability as well as the natural ability to cross the blocker and turn the corner with enough sink to get under the blocker
- Shows the balance and steady acceleration to potentially handle a stand-up OLB role in a 3-4 alignment
- Locates the ball quickly and pursues hard

Here Is What I Wrote In His Thread
Smelter is someone you pick in the 4th round because of his ACL injury (2nd round talent) and stash on IR for a year.
- Fluid athlete
- Nice release
- Fires off the los
- Controlled footwork
- Runs with a natural forward lean
- Good timing
- Explodes in and out of his breaks
- Fantastic hand-eye coordination
- Catches the ball at the highest Point
- Is able to adjust to throws
- Very rarely drops a pass
- Gets separation on vertical routes
- Plays very physical
- Vicious blocker
- Respected for his work ethic and leadership
Not asked to run a full route tree in Johnsons scheme but shouldnt have an issue running any route in the NFL.
