Now this isn't my ideal mock or what I wish would happen. This is my guess at how things coukld shake out, considering how Baalke drafts usually go.
Round 1 Pick 15
So one recurring theme with all his drafts is that the 1st pick is always a surprise. Starting with Aldon. Another thing is that he usually goes defense, especially after the AJ Jenkins mess. Having such a high pick, I think he goes o-line, d-line, or just defense. I find it hard to believe he goes wide-receiver unless its a homerun can't miss prospect like Amari Cooper, and i doubt he's there. So all that considering. I go.....
PJ Williams - CB - FSU. Baalke's been adamant about the secondary. From Reid, to Ward, and now i think he gets The corner. Especially if Cully leaves.
Round 2 - Pick 14
I know think he looks for the speed receiver.
Devin Smith - WR - OSU
Round 3 - Pick 15 -
He goes BPA here and takes a Runningback. This team next season is going to run more than ever and I think he gets another back to help Hyde. And I make this choice considering Gore leaves. If he stays then no way I see him take a back this high.
Ameer Abdullah - RB Nebraska.
Round 3 - Pick ?
I see Baalke somehowmaking another pick in the third. He loves these middle of the draft picks. Thats his bread and butter. He trades up and finds some beef for the defense.
DT.Xavier Cooper - Washington State
Round 4 - Compensatory Pick -
Jeremiah Poutasi - OT - Utah
Baalke includes the 5th rounder in the package deal for the third.
6th Round Pick
Wes Saxton - TE - South Alabama
7th Round - Compensatory pick
Devin Gardner - WR - Michigan - Baalke likes projects with his last picks.
Round 7 - Pick 27 -
Connor Halliday - QB - Washington State. A quarterback to push Kap. Much cheaper than Gabbert.

P.J. Williams - On my radar in my upcoming mock
Xavier Cooper - Like the pick, but he will not be available to us in the 3rd unless we trade up in the 2nd to get him which I doubt
Wes Saxton - On my radar as well, but if we draft him we'll have to do it in the 4th or 5th. Forget about him being there in the 6th
Ameer Abdullah - He will not last until the 3rd. And our RB position isn't that in need to draft another RB that high. WR and CB are higher priorities
Dislikes:
Devin Smith - Too lean for the new Black-n-Blue NFC West. Will be a steep learning curve as he mostly ran go-routs, hitches, and posts. Will primarily be a slot WR and we can get that, speed and all, in later rounds
Jeremiah Poutasi - No way Too inflexible. Has problems keeping his weight down, which will force him to the inside, which we don't need. Terrible against the speed rush
Devin Gardner - NO MORE PROJECTS!!!! Plus, chances are that he'll go undrafted, so we won't need to use a draft pick on him.
Connor Halliday - At 6-4, 198 his lanky frame will get broken in half in the NFC West. There's no way on the planet THIS is the guy to push Kaep. NO WAY!!!

I don't really think he is too lean at 6-1 199lbs. I do agree he needs to really improve on the route running though. Not really sure how he turns into a slot WR? He is a down the field speed demon.

I really don't think Baalke goes CB at 15...and justifying that he will because he draft 2 safeties doesn't make sense. I think the earliest he has gone CB was the 3rd for Culliver. He has proven to find good value later in the draft.
DL or WR should be the pick in the 1st. But like you said who knows what he will do lol.

A short WR who can run fast but can't play. That is Baalke.

He get's compared to Djax and 6-1 199 Lbs isn't really that small. You want a big slow WR instead?

NFL.com has the Niners taking, Arik Armstead, a 6'8", 290 lb defensive tackle out of Oregon. Does anyone know anything about this guy?

Baalke has also taken 2 RBs in the 2nd (LaMichael James and Carlos Hyde), maybe he does it a 3rd time??

SI.com has the Niners taking Trae Waynes in the first and Dorial Green-Beckham in the second. I know he has some character issues, but if DGB is available in the second round, you have to take him. And I still say Waynes may not be the greatest tackler in the world, but he's got the size, quickness and speed to be a legitimate shut-down corner. Deion Sanders was a bad tackler too.
If the Niners come out of the first two rounds with a shut-down corner and DGB, that could be huge.

If we are switching to a zone blocking scheme, Ameer Abdullah would be great to pair with Carlos Hyde. Abdullah comes out of the backfield like he is shot out of a cannon and cuts on a dime. Dude is big time EXPLOSIVE!

Agree, Baalke goes either DL ( Malcolm Brown, Arik Armstead or trade down for Carl Davis ) or WR ( White, DGB or trade down for Devin Smith ) in 1st round.
I believe both Carl Davis and Devin Smith will be off the board by Niners 2nd round pick.

He can't pass block to save his life though.

If he goes Dline then it would have to be Armstead or Brown. I don't think Shelton is still there. I would prefer Brown.
