That´s What´s Up,
I´m also a fan of the Rowe pick in the 4th though I´ve read in an article that he wants to play corner. Does anyone know where he played at the Senior Bowl ?

He could play both on our team.

Very nice mock, No love for Jerod-Eddie? I think TJE will be a Niner, he's a Tomsula project that has improved every year
He may even win that 3-4 LDE spot

+ a good player on ST (coverage and return units). He would bring a lot of value to the team, especially as a 4th rounder.
By the way I just watched his whole interview and he was misquoted:
I prefer CB but that´s just my personal opinion. Wherever the coach needs me I´ll play.

I have seen many of our mocks trading Brooks to numerous teams. However how many teams are going to want to pay him what he is owed? Guessing a team will take him and restructure his contract is the best case senrio but how realistic is it? Or just taking him and paying him what he is owed is even harder to say will happen.

According to AB his base salary has de-escalated by $2.5M to $3.5M ($7.1M against the Cap in 2015).

He's a better fit as a DT in a 4-3 in my opinion. Hard worker, but he can be replaced.

- I admit the Ogbuehi is an aspirational pick, considering Thomas was taken with our 3rd round comp. So if I were to change that pick, I'd still go for a IR/PUP player but look for Smelter - WR - Georgia Tech. He could be the replacement for Boldin in 2016.
- Ian Williams is a good player, but his salary and lack of versatility puts him as a fringe player. Dial, Dorsey, and even Brown can play NT in our scheme.
- Blake Sims is similar to BJ Daniels, but I think Sims offers more upside being coached in a pro style offense. He's played under center, in the shotgun, and read-option with pistol formations. Because we do all of that, and will be more aggressively focused on a running QB, he fits the void perfectly.
I like smelter to and yes He would replace Boe looks like 4.4 speed on the field so this would most defintelty be a good pick eeven if he is on IR/PUP it`s worth it.

Overall good mock. I would switch just a few things tho. I would go after a CB in the first three rounds. There is a lot of second tier talent at that position that will be gone by the 4th round. And I'm a duke johnson fan, but 2nd round seems a bit too high for him considering the devaluation of the position and the fact that he would be a mere complement or change of pace back. I think duke, or a similar player can be had a couple rounds later. I really like the trade down and adding picks. This draft doesn't seem to have a lot of top level talent, but rounds 2-4 there is value to be had.

I'd rather take a flyer on Devin Gardner over Sims but I can dig it.

Gardner as a QB? I don't think he's even planning on being a QB in the NFL. Was practicing as a WR at the Sr Bowl.

Last year, I would have stated that Ogbuehi should be available on day 2 if not even on day 3 for sure. Given that the Pats picked Easley in the first round, I won't state that never ever again.
good OT are almost as important as QBs or pass-rushers respectively. According to the CBS ranking, he should be gone on day 2 and I strongly assume that he indeed will be gone in round 3 if not even earlier. Could imagine the Chiefs as a potential landing spot because Fisher sucked so far but won't be given up just yet, therefore they pick him as an insurance. Or the Rams who certainly want to set Long under pressure.

Oh for real. I had no clue he was practicing as a WR. I realize he did play wr for a year at Michigan. I admit he's not that great of qb. But I don't see Sims as being much better.

That's the bad thing about this year's QB prospects, it's very slim pickings. Every player has huge negatives to go along with their individual positives. It's pretty much "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" with these crop of guys. Thankfully we aren't a (starting) QB needy team like others in the NFL.

Agreed. Sims is a better QB prospect than Gardner, but to what level remains to be seen. I think he has a lot to offer in our current offensive system as a backup QB.
