just to mention, our needs are not merely DL and receiver. We need a development QB, a running back if Frank goes, TE if Vernon can't snap back, at least one OL, and possibly a corner.

For this reason I can't see Baalke trading up unless the value is simply not refusable. Neither can I see him investing two high picks in the same position.


Depending on value I would guess he would like to walk away this year with DL in the 1st, a receiver in the 2nd and then deal with the other needs, maximising value.
