How good..?

I know it has only been one year but last years draft to me as of now looks great..lots of potential starters that already have had decent playing time..future starting safety ward big question mark with his foot..future number 1 back Hyde..future starting center/guard Martin..future starting guard/tackle Thomas biggest question mark bc of the acl..starting lb Borland..future starting cb who is fast with size dj..starting olb lynch..kick return specialist who if is used right at wr can create big plays Ellington..also switch knife Millard and 2 developmental cbs in reaser and acker..really like our draft last year after a year of play..how do you all see how this draft is turning out so far..?
Better than 2012 that's for sure.

I think Millard will be our RB in the " Jumbo " or " Heavy " package... Goal Line or so.. he reminds me of a thicker Roger Craig coming out of college... Not elusive enough to be a pure TB, but not heavy enough to be a pure FB either..

What this kid knows is to play the game... and in that aspect, I've only seen 3 pure RBs that knew how the game of football, and what I mean is that they'll be good wherever you line them up..

Marcus Allen, Ricky Watters and Marshall Faulk
While the draft class looks extremely promising, I'm having some doubts on one player specifically.

That player being Marcus Martin. Sure he is a big guy who held his own for most of the season, but he seems to be a player who will be plagued with injuries throughout his career. Kneecap injury still seems to be bothering him.

He also can catch and maybe the H back we have been looking for since Delanie Walker left.
^^^^ Despite seemingly being drafted too highly at this point, I actually think Vance McDonald is doing an admirable job in that role. Bruce Miller has colored in some of that space as well. Truth be told I just don't really see Millard as a need on this team right now. He was a 7th round pick, so IMO his ability to stick on the team will come down primarily to his contribution on ST, and potentially to his ability to sit at the back of the RB chart and be a short yardage guy now that the teams RB depth has gone in the tank.

I think as a fanbase distance has also made our hearts grow fonder of Walker. He had a good year with the Titans last year for sure, but his drops were maddening when he was with the 9ers, and from a numerical perspective he never did too much as a receiver. I mean, we're talking about a guy who averaged about 20-25 receptions and 200-250 receiving yards a year, which is essentially what Bruce Miller is now doing.

I think we also need to question the need for three guys who might be kind of redundant in whatever new offense we're running, assuming the offense changes to some degree.
Millard was a 7th round pick because of his injury. The kid is a great football player.
