Like it! Only two things:
1. Can we get rid of Gabbert? Would rather keep Johnson though I can see him going with Harbaugh
2. Don't think Prewitt lasts that long, though I love the pick

I love me some Rashad Greene, but isn't he a bit redundant with Ellington? Plus we have Patton waiting patiently. I think 1 WR to replace Crabtree is enough. I don't see the point in trading Vance. He's a good blocker and might become something with new coaches. Also not sure Tmousula is the guy I want. Give me Gase or Hamilton plz.
I like the White and Jackson picks though

Not bad but I really don't get why so many people are eager to ship off Vance McDonald.
How about actually giving the guy a chance to make plays? Considering he doesn't have a high salary moving him for a 7th rounder the following year is stupid.

Overall I like it
Are you setting it up how you think it will go down or how you would do it?? Hate the HC idea, but I can see it happening....unfortunately.
Think it would be silly to drop Vance on a rookie contract, needs more chances and maybe a new OC would help.
Rather resign Cully, but it would come down to cash. Like the FA pick ups. Maybe extend Aldon Smith?? Boone can peace out or they need to more the line around.
I'd rather draft DGB (if he declares) , but I wouldn't be upset with White.

We give up on a 2nd rd pick for a 7th rounder. Worse case scenario Mcdonald is a cap friendly very good blocking TE who might just develope into a pass catcher. Doesn't make sense.

Baalke isn't afraid to get rid of high round draft busts if they aren't contributing to the team. A.J. Jenkins and LaMichael James are prime examples. And in addition of signing Virgil Green, we also have a healthy Trey Millard returning to the field. Mix in Derek Carrier, then you are talking about a numbers game.
McDonald was a bad pick. Let's get something in return instead of nothing.

I'd be shocked if the guy has 30 pass targets in two seasons. I don't see how any offensive player not named Frank Gore, Anquan Boldin, or Michael Crabtree could get any rhythm in those offense. I'd like to see McDonald get a couple of games where he actually has 4 to 5 targets.
We all love Jim Tomsula, but that promotion leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I like Rod Chudzinski as OC. However, considering who we have and this is the most talented team he'd ever have, I can easily see him getting a HC job elsewhere, especially if a Super Bowl is won within three years or we produce like we are capable of producing. I really love your draft. Talented players and realistic spots, except do you really think Rashad Greene goes all the way to the third?

Overall - pretty solid.
Not a fan of all the choices especially HC but it is still a VERY real possibility.
Like VERY much Chudzinski BUT do you think he's accept the job or would he hold out for a HC position since they always come up?
I went through it 3x and couldn't find what you did w/Iupati. IMO, keep Boone since he can swing to either Tackle position and we have crap for Tackle back-up as it is. Let Iupati walk.
I'd also keep Vance since he's on a friendly rookie contract and see if a REAL coach can develop he and Kap together.
LOVE the first 3 draft picks!
Thanks for all the work.

TBH I would rather we give Vernon Davis his walking papers rather than Vance. More drops in 1 game than he has touchdowns in this season and then once the Niners are eliminated from the playoffs he finally shows some effort on that touchdown that got called back. Looked to me he was one of the sandbagging players this year. But great mock off season I love picking up Virgil Green but he is more of a blocking TE and if we get him then we are just keeping up the trend of a non threat #2 TE

Iupati wasn't part of his resignings so he is letting the "pro bowler" walk.

This I'd use that pick on a CB of DL. Especially with Cowboy being old and Raymac being gone. They need to bulk up this d line fast. Tank and Dial are still question marks. And TJE is a back up.
Not really sold on Tomsula and i think a guy like Chuds wouldn't wanna work under him b/c he thinks he should be his boss.
And get Vance outta here. Just a bad pick.

He got fired after 1 year as a head coach. Regardless if it was his fault or not, it's still a mark on your overall body of work. Hue Jackson is a prime example. HC for 1 year, got fired, took an assistant job, and is now an OC for the Bengals.
Right now, Chud is an assistant on the Colts staff. No one will hire him for an NFL HC gig. But they will look at him as an OC, especially after his body of work with Cam Newton with the Panthers. He also coached Frank Gore at the U of Miami...random fact. He'd have complete autonomy of the offense. And if he's successful, he'd be a coaching candidate in 2-3 years.
Chud's best years as an OC came with the Panthers. Mobile QB with Newton, rushing attack with two RBs (Stewart, Williams), utilized TEs (Olsen, Shockey), and developed a passing attach with limited weapons at WR (Smith, LaFell). His offensive philosophy fits extremely well with the current talent of our roster.
We let Iupati walk strictly due to financial cap limitations. My bet is that we offer Iupati a contract that we deem fair value, but it's under what he'd actually receive on the open market. And that's why Baalke drafted B. Thomas last year. He's 2nd round talent that we grabbed in the mid-rounds due to injury.
