Just looked back over the last 5 drafts and it seems Balke and McCloughan before him only like small WR's. Only one WR drafted in each of the last 5 years .
2010 Kyle Williams 5-10
2011 Ron Johnson 5-11
2012 A. J. Jenkins 6-0
2013 Quinton Patton 6-0
2014 Bruce Ellington 5-9
Obviously this isn't working , time to look for some size I'd think.

What exactly isn't working...........the receivers being drafted aren't fitting into the 1970's style passing offense..........cue up the presses.
The height of the receivers is really one of the least pressing issues that this team has to deal with at the moment.

Height is only important in Madden. Let's look at some great receivers who are 6-0 and under:
Torry Holt
Marvin Harrison
Reggie Wayne
Steve Smith
Antonio Brown
Odell Beckham Jr.
TY Hilton
Victor Cruz
Jeremy Maclin
Desean Jackson
Tim Brown
Steve Largent
And so on....

Height is overrated, if the guy can play pick him.

Not saying smaller guys aren't good or great , just that we have No size especially when it comes to the red zone

I like BIG receivers BUTTTT height doesn't guarantee success.
There are allot of guys whoa are big fish in small ponds of the college ranks.
In the Pro's it's a different story.
Jerry Rice = perfect height

Jon Baldwin (6'4") was on the roster and his height didn't help him stay on the team.

Picking a big redzone WR would still suck coz we'd call a read option play on 1st. It would fail and be 2nd & 16 and out of the redzone again...
