Look at all those missed tackles I'm not seeing him break any. NFL won't miss those tackles and won't let him run off tackle every play.

As a Badger fan first time I seen him play I thought Charles. A few years later still sticking with that. With Wisconsin's OL and system they can toss just about any rb in there and put up big numbers so many that don't watch Gordon will hold that against him. That being said he is the most talented RB Wisconsin has probably ever had. Even with Gore back I'd have a hard time not taking Gordon in the late 1st but I think he will be gone in the top 15-20.

One last thing, if you have any doubt, look at yesterday's game film against Purdue. He had a run down the right sideline and would have taken it to the house had he not slightly stepped out. The thing about the play was he was running full speed down the sideline and was hemmed in, but did a cold stop and faked out all THREE defenders at the same time. If not for an inch or so of paint he would have been in the endzone celebrating and that run would have been all over Sportcenter. It was one of those "Whoa!" plays.
Oh, and he can catch!

So making them miss isn't a skill?

Gordon is very good as I watched him yesterday in that Purdue game.
I guarantee he's a first or second round pick, the only problem is whether the 49ers will take a back that early or not.
Nobody here should be questioning whether he can play in the NFL, the real question is what will our GM and Head coach do?
We have Kendall Hunter and Carlos Hyde so maybe we need one more running back but what I feel you're overlooking is other needs on the team such as o-line and cornerback.
We already took Carlos Hyde in the second round last year. You really think we'll take a back early? (granted Gore will be gone but still)
One of the reasons why I'm mentioning this is because I loved Jamal Charles coming out of Texas and we didn't take him.
I watched DeSean Jackson play at Cal and we didn't take him so I'm not trying to fall in love with any particular player when we end up with Jimmie Ward. (no offense to Jimmie)

He is good but he doesn't have a quick first step and doesn't run low like Gore.

Of course, but their getting a hand on him or whiffing, and the NFL wont miss that, either way if thats what hes good at he wont fit our O.

Gordon is a top 15 talent, probably late 1st rd pick due to the fact no backs go that high anymore. I love this kid, great runner, good vision, and good size.
