We are over 90. 4 players we signed to futures are going to be cut

Not projecting. Just outlined to make it easily digestible. Check OTCs thread in NT for more info.
I think Skov might end up on the IR.
Isn't he coming off a blown ACL?

Also, crazy thought, anybody think Skov could end up a DE?
49ers picked up UDFA center Dillon Farrell from New Mexico. Good player on a bad team. I painstakingly debated on whether or not to put him on the Big 256, but ultimately felt that he would probably just miss the cut. Farrell had a terrific pro day, weighing in at 6-5 303 and putting up 30 reps on the bench, while clocking a 5.06 with a 30 inch vertical.

Farrell played in the East-West Shrine game and was solid. He has experience at center, guard, and tackle, and was also a respected team leader and captain.

Yes! I was waiting all day for the 49ers to take Skov. Skov could be a pass rush specialist, like Kevin Greene. I actually think this guy could be a star in the NFL and make GMs look silly for not even spending a 7th rounder on him. He was the best college LB last year.

London Fletcher, James Harrison and John Randle were undrafted.

he tore his ACL & MCL his junior year, he's not hurt now. Not sure about DE, I haven't heard anything about that.

Is he even big enough? If anything OLB, he weighs only 245-250

I read somewhere that one of the knocks on him was his weight... Can't seem to find that article now but nonetheless the fire this guy plays with is something I would want on my D-line.

He's already up to about 250, I think his fellow team-mate DE Trent Murphy is about 260.

Also, pretty cool article written on him by the Redskins, they compare him to Chris Borland and actually think he should have gone higher

Noteworthy is such a subjective term.

QB Kenny Guiton of Ohio state to the Vikings.

I think he tore his ACL two years ago.

I do not think he was hurt last year.

He is FAR too slow to play OLB
He struggles dipping below 5 in the 40

Far too slow to play OLB....well, Willis and Bowman are a heck of a lot faster than Smith and Brooks aren't they? If he came in on 3rd and long he'd basically be acting like a DE. He can also rush the QB from the inside. I think he'll be a great run stopping inside guy too.

This is the stanford/oregon game, I think it's like every defensive play. But you can see Shayne make several good plays against an offense with NFL speed.
