Maiocco: Niners aren't very high on the CB's. Target is a WR on a trade up.

None of the CB's in the first are worth trading up for.
Go all out and get Watkins
Cant see why we wouldnt be high on fuller. The trade up should be for him. Keep hearing Cooks work ethic is second to none and is a coaches dream. Guess id be ok with him. Have a bad feeling there are gonna be Whats wrong with the Secondary questions next season.

you gotta love the misinformation that surrounds the draft.
We won't know if this is more smokescreen 'til Thurs night...I'd say be ready for anything. Baalke + 11 picks = anything goes.

100 percent certain at this point that we will go CB 1st.
Maybe it's not a receiver or cornerback in the first.

Cool. Don't trade up.
Yeah pick 11 guys.. 5 of which probably wouldn't make the roster...

No. Quality over quantity.
Brandin Cooks, woot woot!!

Cooks, Beckham, or Evans will be the pick.

I would be happy to see them trade up for Dennard, unless they don't think he'd fit their system. Beyond that, I agree. I don't see Gilbert or Fuller as worth trading up for at all.

He's talking about the first round. The second and third rounds are very deep. That is where the trade ups should happen.

I'd be ok trading up in the first round, as long as we're not giving up anything more than a third rounder + a lower pick and were sold on a guy.

A couple of points, which you probably should have worked out.

Don't trade up doesn't stop you from trading back to next year.

And, bearing in mind the failure rate in 1st round pick receivers, 5 picks may well not make the roster but nobody knows which 5 that will be.
I'm cool with it. We're dying for some game-breaking speed at WR.

It's a very deep CB class, so we can wait until 2nd or 3rd rd to address it and get a quality player. Desir, Breeland, Gaines, Joyner....some really intriguing guys after rd 1.
