I think you can throw the draft chart out this year. Last year the niners lept way up by giving up a single third round pick. The KC chiefs want to acquire more picks in the top 100. I say if a WR or CB is available at pick 23, then pull the trigger.
Niners get pick 23
Chiefs get pick 30 and pick 77. We are getting value and the points do not add up, but I think with this deep draft the Chiefs would go for it.

One year after picking first overall, Kansas City will be waiting to No. 23 to make its first selection this year. It's also the only selection the franchise has in the first 86 picks, which is why Dorsey made it clear he's entertaining offers to move down and acquire more.
A man told me once never to pass up a good player," Dorsey said, "but also if I can acquire some additional picks in a draft that could or could not be deep, I'll do that."
The consensus is this year's draft is deep, further adding to his desire to hoard picks.

I say trade with KC if you can get value and the player is there at 23 the niners covet

This is my exact prediction. I think SF trades the aforementioned picks to get 23 and select Fuller.. and I think both teams would win in this exchange.

For seven spots I'd rather just keep #77.

This. f**k giving up a third round pick and a possible player such as WR Bruce Ellington to move up 7 spots and draft a player that might be there at #30 anyways. The second and third round is where it's at. I'd do all the trade work in those rounds.
Maybe I would offer them #94, maybe.

Yeah the trade value chart says we're on the losing end of that trade. In a deep draft, that's the opposite of what you would expect. Pick 30 = 620, pick 77 = 205, pick 23 = 760. Trading 94 makes way more sense. The trade value chart says pick 94 = 124 points so the sides are almost even, slightly in the 49ers favor which makes sense in a deep draft. I may give up 94 to move up for Fuller if more than 1 CB is already off the board. If Gilbert is the only CB gone by then, I'd probably sit and wait for a corner to drop to 30 or even considering trading back a bit if 2 we like are there at 30.

My bad 100%, I was typing while working on something else. I meant pick 30 and pickpick 128 . points favor niners and give KC their extra pick.
