Guys who want to burn premium picks to move up in a remarkably deep draft for OBJ and Cooks: What do you not like about Bruce Ellington? Is there something, other than experience, that those two have that he doesn't?
I'd love it if McShay was right in his guesses. Dennard/Fuller in the 1st, Verrett and Latimer/Matthews in the 2nd (or Moncrief in the 4th, lol), Ellington and Clarke in the 3rd (other 3rd could turn into a 2015 2nd, but it might have been necessary to go up for Dennard, if the choose to do that). That'd be an impressive first two days. Spend day 3 acquiring redshirts (colvin, Murray, Thomas/Long, Millard, etc) or trading into 2015 picks.

Sounds good.
In a deep draft it's usually better to accumulate picks in the sweet spot (rds 2-4) rather than burning picks to trade up for an ~~equal talent in rd 1. Beckham is good but not elite. Latimer, Bryant have higher upside. I'd prefer to pick Latimer (#30-40) + Bryant (#77) instead of trading up for Beckham.

Ellington doesn't have near the top end speed cooks does if you compare the tape, that's what separates the two. He does have great hands though

If Rams draft Watkins, corner becomes a must in the first IMO.

Disagree. McShay is normally an idiot with his rankings. I never put anything into what he says or writes.
Moncrief is a 1st round talent, that will go in the 2nd round IMO.

I completely disagree. Ellington's flying 20 (last 30, even) was actually faster than Cooks', and that speed shows up on the football field. Neither he nor Cooks are super top speed guys, but the gain their separation through acceleration, quickness, and agility. He appears to have instant acceleration, with physicality and balance to spare. JMO, anyway

Robinson at 15 and landry at 9...i think not. Robinson has more speed, can jump higher, and the guy had 1432 yards on 6 tds, that was with a qb Christian Hackenburg who yes, was a FRESHMAN. Landry had Zach Mettenberger who i would say had a stronger showing then Hackenburg did...Plus, Robinson was the only receiver that CBs had to worry about because arguably, he was their go-to-guy and number 1 option on receiving. Landry is good, Robinson is better though

Trade both seconds, move up for Verrett
I'd dance all around my house if this happened.

If FO stays put (no trades), there's a good possibility (all 5 players) can land with us (if that's their intentions). That would be a damn good draft (grade)!
And we'd still have a 3rd, a 4th and a 5th rd pick. Then call Faiders or Cowgirls (because they're both funny) to trade all three 7th rds and Jonathan Baldwin for 2015 draft pick(s).

I think a lot of people are over-looking that we might get a pass rushing DE...
I think our lineup is going to look something like one of these two things
1. Trade up for a WR, trade up again to grab somebody like Tuitt or a fast/strong edge pass rusher, then get a CB in 2-3 rounds
(this would only work if Baalke and Harbs have a CB they think they can get that late and mold into a slot/starter)
2. Stay put for Fuller/Verrett/Roby, trade up to get a pass rusher, then get a WR

No, he's just remarkably honest about his sexual stamina.

Justin Gilbert 4th ranked corner on McShay's list. Most everything I've read has him as the unquestioned top CB in the draft.

The list is for all db's not just corner's. He has him as the number 2 CB behind Denard. Pryor and Dix are safeties
Rankings pretty accurate
