Beckham Jr...the cat has stud/star written all over him. No Landry. Beckham has speed and amazing hands to go with it. I had the unfortunate part of living in the south and being forced to watch a lot of SEC games and this kid is the real deal.

Verrett in the first round and Jordan Mathews in the second. There is no reason to reach up and grab a player like Beckham when you can get a better receiver in Mathews in the second round.

Darqueze Dennard, Jason Verrett and Jared Abbrederis. High character blue collar players who will fit right in with the Harbaugh culture.

I liked our defense best in 2011 when Carlos Rogers was playing good ball, thats why I've been pushing for a #1 corner. Gilbert, Dennard, Fuller look the most complete to me, but there's no gaurantees here. I'm also on board with Varrett, think his skillset could help the team, someone to cover Doug Baldwin and Tavon Austin. Would much rather have Jordan Matthews or Kelvin Benjamin than move up for Odell Beckham Jr., not worth it. They produce good defensive players, not so much offensive.

Either Fuller or Dennard then either Matthews or Moncrief. We don't need a small fast receiver when we can get a tall fast receiver in the same round.

Trey Millard.
He's a perfect player for this offense in every single way imaginable. Good, high character guy, tough, resilient, versatile, very bright, can block, can catch, can run with the football, can contribute on special teams, I mean, what more do you want? He's the epitome of a Jim Harbaugh football player. A total "It's all about the team" sort of football player.

Dennard, Fuller or Verrett, one of these CB's is destined to be a San Francisco 49er!!!!
Anyone after either one of them I'd be content with the draft.

For me, it's Fuller and either Matthews or Adams. Fuller because he's an excellent all-around CB with definite ST ability, as just about every DB coming from VA Tech has (thanks, Coach Beamer). Matthews or Adams because it's critically important for Baalke to get Crabtree's replacement in this draft. Just don't see Beckham or Landry filling that requirement.

The more I read the "what the experts said" articles the more I realize it's anyone's guess. It really comes down to the athletes themselves. Their character, work ethic, intangibles are just as important as a solid skill set. The right "fit" is also a major factor in long term success. There maybe a great athlete, but might not be the right fit and they fail to reach their potential.
In my opinion, that was one of Bill Walsh's strengths. He seemed to have a knack for finding the "right" player.
That being said, I'm liking guys like Landry LSU and Millard OU.
IMO need has us with a CB early and maybe two. I'm a fan of Fuller, Denard, Verette, and Desir. I most of us are on board with these guys.
My big selfish draft crush is Pryor though (not realistic I know)
Sorry for rambling. Go Niners!

Jason Verrett we see Harvin and Austin 4 times a year with them and all the other good slot receivers in the league we need a guy that can shut them down Verrett can be that guy. He has the speed and skills to cover the Wes Welker types of the league his height should not matter.

Ding ding ding! We have a winner.
I'd add Donte Moncrief to that list. From a talent standpoint, he's as good as or better than Greg Little (Little is an absolute retard off the field though; and he's had had craptastic QBs).
And if Louis Nix drops 30 or the 2nd round, he's a must-have IMO.
If Brandon Thomas drops to the 4th or lower, he's a must-have too. Perfect guy for a team that's already set on the OL but could use some young blood.
Possibly Marcus Martin too. Wouldn't call him a must-draft, but he's close IMO.

There's no way we should keep another pure fullback /backup on our roster. It's a waste. We just need an undrafted type that we can stash on our PS and only activate if Bruce gets hurt.
