Verrett is arguably the top corner in the draft, but size concerns could make him available at the bottom of the first round.
56. San Francisco 49ers: Paul Richardson, WR, Colorado
The 49ers need a speed receiver to open up the field for Anquan Boldin and Michael Crabtree.
61. San Francisco 49ers: Keith McGill, CB, Utah
If McGill is on the board at this point, GM Trent Baalke could double down on the cornerback position to fill the 49ers' biggest need heading into training camp.
77. San Francisco 49ers: Chris Borland, ILB, Wisconsin
Borland might lack some of the physical dimensions the 49ers covet, but there's no disputing his instincts, awareness and playmaking skills. At worst, he is a core special teamer for the 49ers for the next few seasons.
94. San Francisco 49ers: Ed Reynolds, FS, Stanford
Jim Harbaugh could turn to one of his former players to shore up the vacancy created by Donte Whitner's departure.
100. San Francisco 49ers: Trai Turner, OG, LSU
The 49ers don't have an obvious need along the offensive line, but that won't prevent the team from adding a talented guard to groom for a bigger role down the road.
129. San Francisco 49ers: James Gayle, DE, Virginia Tech
MAN GOOD THING this guy aint our GM because this guy is outta his mind thinking we are taking a POTENTIAL Special team player that HIGH in the 3rd round when there is a BIGGER need at the DE. DT & even Safety position & seriously the last 3 picks are head scratchers. The Verrett pick is good but really Paul Richardson with the 56 pick??? I DONT THINK SO am sure players like Jordan Matthews & Donte Moncrief will STILL be available & be better options with that pick.
