all this talk about WRs in the first round is to throw off everyone else, they are going CB in the first round.....definitely need a #1 CB

JJ Stokes was similar to Evans IMO. I think Evans has more talent, but the ceiling is about the same.
This
Stokes was running in the 4.7 range. They are not comparable at all......
4.7.... not true.
Stokes was clocked at 4.54 in Santa Clara.

In the first I'd rather take Roby, Fuller, or Dennard than Gilbert or Verrett.
After Evans the only other regularly mentioned first round WR I'd be interested in is Benjamin and I wouldn't trade up to get him.

Stokes ran a 4.66 in private workouts which I'm sure was hand-timed. Evans ran a 4.53 at the combine with a slow start and poor technique. He can run faster than that. Stokes was also a little smaller than Evans and did not have the length, he was a couple years older when drafted and he was coming off an injury and dealt with injuries in the NFL.

Beating Cyrus Jones and John Fulton is hardly a ringing endorsement, dude won't be playing against street FAs on Sundays, and the OU was a borderline flag.
Not saying he doesn't have talent, just saying he's over hyped a bit and not worth trading way up in the draft to get.
