Nice one
49ers are making a cottage industry out of just stacking highly talented and promising injured guys on to future years.

The strides doctors have made in repairing knees nowadays as opposed to anything earlier than 5 years ago is a night and day difference.

Might as well designate the Comp pick as an injury reserve pick every year

We should be getting another 3rd or 4th for Donte Whitner too.
STRENGTHS Good size with very long arms and big hands. Quick out of his stance. Knee bender with good balance and body control. Solid base. Places his hands inside and can pop and recoil. Strong-handed puncher with good grip strength once he latches on. Athletic, efficient mover. Light on his feet to step to the second level or pull. Can maneuver and throw his hips in the hole. Climbs to the second level. Three-year starter who played tackle (two-time first-team All-ACC at LT). Held his own against Jadeveon Clowney without help.

The land of misfit toys. Or in the 49ers case, broken toys. I hope these guys eventually pan out. You all know about the window? Right?

Elite franchises don't have windows. The Browns, Raiders, Redskins etc, those are the teams that are biting their fingernails thinking about windows.

no those teams are in a dark tunnel trying to find some light.
I f**kin love that we are in a position to stockpile great prospects that suffered injuries in college. the talent being accumulated on this team is amazing.

He would have all year to bulk up, at 177 he has a ways to go.

With all the extra picks they acquired yesterday, I can't see them not drafting Colvin. These guys get a year of 49er education before they are thrown into the mix. Playbook, NFL work ethic, gym work, etc. This way they come in to their 1st training camp running.

Would definitely not be opposed to draft him but ACL´s on 300 lbs players are a little scary.

This is his second ACL. Why didn't we just select Gabe Jackson while we had a chance?
GREAT CALL on saying we'd pick him!
