It may just be the 49ers looking at potential return specialists they can get later in the draft.

COMPARES TO: Stephen Hill, New York Jets - Similar to Hill when he entered the NFL, Bryant is a tall, legit vertical threat with potential to be drafted higher than expected, but needs to become more well-rounded as a pass-catcher and become more consistent at the catch point to reach his full potential.

Pretty much this, a long-striding vertical threat and little else.

Can he block like Stephen Hill? If he's raw at running routes and catching passes, he's got to be able to use his big frame to block in the Niners' O. I like his speed and potential as a vertical threat.
Bryant would be a good bet as the second WR the Niners select. Barring injury to someone else, he and the team can afford to make him inactive in games for a season. In that time he can learn. Besides height and speed, he has good hands. He can catch over the middle.

Not feeling Bryant or that CB Breeland at all.
Bryant has a lot of potential and I'd be ok with taking him in the 3rd but with our track record of developing WR's I'd rather go with more developed nfl ready guys like Landry, Abbrederis, etc.

Everybody and dey mama knew 49ers were interested in Aaron Colvin, even a blind man seen that coming!!!

Have to figure we will take at least 1 guy and put him on IR for the year. Easley, Colvin, Spencer Long, etc. Then we can activate them next year and still have them under contract for 4 years like with Lattimore. We should have done that with Carradine but I guess we thought his knee was good when the surgery wasn't done right and needed to be fixed. Surprised the NFL doesn't monitor IR more closely we put Okoye on there over a sprained knee because we didn't want to lose them.

Demarcus Lawrence in for a visit
Still not hyped about Bryant. Long speed guy that is inconsistent catching the ball. Stephen Hill is an excellent comparison

However, he also was suspended on three different occasions for violation of team rules. That's likely a big reason why the 49ers want to meet him in person prior to the draft.
Per @TDavenport_BSN/@NFLBridge, Towson RB @Terrancewest28 is set to visit the 49ers http://t.co/jv66mDHCDx
